The loser celebrity children are back in town! Do they need further explanation?

Westley was the *original* first fairy baby born in thousands of years following the fairy baby ban, and is horrendously jealous of Poof for coming along and robbing him of his title. After his birth, he was taken from his parents and raised by Jorgen and Binky, who prevented his biological parents from visiting him more than once every other millennium- the same fate that would have befallen Poof if Cosmo and Wanda hadn’t been so quick on the draw. He still blames his parents for not forming a connection with him in his youth and nowadays wants nothing to do with them whatsoever.

Westley is considered a big star in Fairywood, and grudgingly leans on Blonda as his surrogate mother- not that either of them would ever admit it. He dyes his hair and has an extremely snappy outlook on life. None of those charity events were his idea. Despite his bitterness, Poof has met him a few times and idolizes him as a big brother figure, and convinced Foop to name their egg baby Westley instead of Foop Jr. in his honor. Foop didn’t know where the name came from.

Frayed Knots doesn’t focus on him, so he gets less screentime than Talon does, but Westley still gets talked about quite a bit and you’ll see him as a baby. He chose Periwinkle as his handle because he refuses to use his real family name.

Talon was raised by Anti-Cosmo and H.P., and it went exactly as well as you would expect it to. Both have their claws sunk into him and neither is willing to relinquish ties completely. Talon compromises as best as he can with their wants in an attempt to keep Anti-Fairy/Pixie relations stable. He spends most of his time in Pixie World, ringing the bells in the Water Temple and bullying pixie children. Anti-Cosmo makes a special effort to visit him, and usually insists that H.P. keep away when he does because the three don’t make a good team.

Talon is a hypochondriac, which is kind of bizarre for an Anti-Fairy, and yet here we are. He got his name because of his tendency to scratch anyone who came near him as a child. He doesn’t like being touched, especially hugged, especially picked up. Talon is also a braggart and never hesitates to fetch one of his “dads” if he thinks he can get someone in trouble. Chaotic evil. Y’all glimpsed him in “How Low Can You Go?” and were officially introduced to him in “I Sing The Body Aflame”. He’ll continue showing up in Pink and Gray as a friend/rival to Gary and Betty, and you’ll of course get to see his story play out in the latter half of Frayed Knots. He’ll be glimpsed in Origin, but Knots provides the details.

I drew him in his yellow acolyte garb since he was born in the Breath year, but he switches into his blue one in the Water Temple. Since he’s under the age of 150,000 at this time, we call him Talon, but if he ever shows up in my works as an adult, you’ll know him as Anti-Westley.
