I feel your pain, Ella. Every month now is a bad month for me. I always know when Iโm due because I get highly emotional and irritable, everything is sore, I sleep all the time, the cramps make me want to curl up in a ball and lie in bed all day. And Iโm too afraid to get BC because of how much they alter your brain chemistry and distort your moods overtime. Respect to anyone who experiences this and still manages to go about their day to day without complaint or interruption ๐ญ And thatโs only the days where your cycle begins, no one really talks about the effect your cycle has on you on the other days. I probably get one week a month where I feel like a normal functioning person.
it's so unfair like how did our bodies do all that evolution and decide this was the best option for us to endure every month ๐ญ๐ญ and then it's like oh great I can not go through this I can just choose from a variety of birth control that will ruin my life in a slightly different way ๐ญ
