Sorry for rambling, but I wanted to get ut out there. It very well might be nothing :)

I think you have some good points here (I didn’t catch the chromatic aberration on the axe page!), but I feel like the major changes in color are what’s meant to be highlighted here. Most of the files are lit with the same cool lighting, like you said (with some slight variations in lighting changes to imply their position on the table). You might extrapolate thatthis is a red and blue Darkiplier thing, but the lighting looks a bit more orange than anything and seems to call more back to the type of lighting we see in the secret “hidden files” console we got to get here.

The two that have a noticeable difference are the Axe page (with that aberration seeming to call back to that kind of aura/power thing we’ve seen associated with it and what Lixian describes in the file) and the M page, which is that very deep red.

Now you mention red and blue being Darkiplier, of course, but remember, red is also a color closely associated with The Actor through his clothes and even the lighting of scenes as we see in DAMIEN. Of course, this could also be just alluding to the imagery of the flashing red sign, the M of M Labs, but it’s all stuff to think about.

Lixian said "His Birthday 2025" while this was on the screen. This can't be a coincidence that he used the pronoun his while M is on the screen. He could of put Mark instead of M on the screen but no he didn't. This really stuck in my mind because of the void files. Lixian in the letters calling someone he,his,him. Maybe this is lix trying to tell us the man he is talking about is M? Maybe the M or CEO on the employee files of M Labs is Mark being confirmed?

Here is a basic masterpost of our theories up to this point covering these shenanigans:

Basically, this first started through the 3 Scary Games videos when Lunky was introduced and basically took over Lixian's place as editor. We believe that Lunky may have been created from the Eldritchplier (who may just be Actor Mark, given the colors) to keep Lixian in line and/or quiet. All of that info can be found in our definitive theory (which is a little out of date, but has a lot of key points).

After Lunky takes over the channel, Lixian comes back with Damien's axe (confirmed in Markiplier's birthday game linked here) and chops Lunky in half, seemingly destroying him. Yet the dark energy lurking inside Lunky (an idea also explored in the birthday game) consumes Lixian for a short period of time. That however does not last for long as Lixian becomes back to his old self.

However, he ends up trapped in the realm of the 3 Scary Games videos, full of fake Marks and monsters that mention that "the Eldritchplier" is coming. Usually these monsters can just be swung at and destroyed easily with the powerful arcane axe, but the fake Squid Mark manages to block that out with some sort of red force field, trapping Lixian in some sort of red dark void .

Meanwhile, we finally see the BACK of the Eldritchplier, who resurrects Lunky officially and who we now see is controlling all these monsters' wills.

After this, we finally see where Lixian has been abandoned in...the outside of The Plier Corporation.

Outside of small bits and pieces, this has been the main story so far...

and it looks like things are getting bigger than ever.
