1) I've seen posts saying that "-deactivated" blog name suffixes only show up after 30 days, meaning that we currently DO NOT KNOW if Goose deacitvated or was banned. I've also seen posts saying this is not the case. Both types of post seem to come from people who are pro-Gooseworx and not transphobic in any way, and both posts are fighting very hard and pulling out very angry language to convince people to agree with them. This doesn't mean anyone is wrong or bad, but it does mean that we clearly don't have reliable information right now. That's normal and ok, this is a recent thing, it is normal to not immediately have all the information on a very recent event.

2) This is the main reason tbh. Gooseworx has been through so much shit these past few months. She has had every single action and writing decision placed under a microscope, had her projects hounded by hate-doms, and weathered multiple scandals. Goose has repeatedly expressed on socials how tired she is of being the center of this constant cycle of drama. All this to say, as much as tumblr staff IS trasnmisogynistic and it IS RIGHT to want to defend those being subject to bigotry and oppression, Gooseworx is a real actual human person with real actual human feelings, and from what we've all seen those feelings are "tired". Until Gooseworx makes any statement about this on any of her various socials, I personally think it's clear that, whatever the situation on tumblr, she does not want to share the details right now. I'd think heavily on taking any actions or engaging in any bandwagoning that would force Goose back into the spotlight.

like do whatever you want, again I don't have authority to speak, but personally I have doubts about the ethics of raising this much anger and noise (even in support or protection) around a creator who is already, per her own words, exhausted by constantly being in the center of drama, and hasn't made a statement on this, and also we don't even have the full facts of the situation.

tldr I worry that making a big thing out of this will just drag Goose back into the spotlight and under more pressure/social-media hounding, and that going ahead and assuming/raging without waiting for her to speak first is putting our own desire for righteous rage before the wishes of the actual person affected.

(obviously if Goose says anything or anything else comes out, this whole post is null and void)
