Community Units 428 and 420 have converged. Last night we arrived and dropped our bags in our respective tents/cabins. Some of the girls have been together before, but this is different. This is one of the activities that they are doing this weekend. This breakout session is called, "Diversifying Beauty". The girls were tasked with coming up with phrases or terms that they felt described beauty that did not include the words pretty or beauty. We have discussed aspirations, divisive points of view on some controversial topics, played body language charades, had breakfast and lunch together and there is so much left to the day.
