Recently had the privilege of shooting @nasa launch of the Mars InSight Lander. This is the first interplanetary mission launched from the west coast. While waiting for the 4am launch, I passed time by watching Interstellar. What stood out to me is that in the film, the journey to Mars takes 8 months. The Insight Lander’s journey will take 6 months.
