Michaels World Famous Camera Museum
Michaels family has been in the camera business for the past 84 years.
Located at the corner of Lonsdale street and Elizabeth street, it a hard sight to miss. If you pay enough attention the the building you will realise that the building was purposed built, just for Michaels Cameras Video and Digital.
Walking in all I saw was sales people selling a variety of cameras and accessories. Walk to the end of the shop, turn left and a big gold antique camera beside a flight stairs. Go up, and there the museum was.
I was pretty shocked at the amount of camera's and photography equipment on display. A total of 8,000 exhibits including some really crazy "James Bond" cameras. Cameras you thought didn't exist, actually do.
Listed on tripadvisor.com.au , Michaels is a FREE admission attraction that is opened seven days a week.
