don't get me wrong, i love the supergirl movie. i think it's great for what it is - but as someone who read the comic i do have some critiques (and also just as a superhero nerd who consumes too much media). i do think one of the issues people gloss over is the fact that for it to be Supergirl's movie its just as much ruythe's story as it is kara's and her narration of kara as a person beyond supergirl that develops through their bond growing is important to the both of them and probably one of the things i missed the most.
milly alcock and eve ridley are so perfect for the both of them and i would've loved to see them with a better script but props to the team and the movie anyway! it was still fun and i adore their kara and ruythe, they're perfect for the roles. let's just have fun with movies, ok? less hate more love ❤️.
