Callanish in the snow
The Callanish Standing Stones located just off the coast of the outer Hebrides in Scotland on the Isle of Lewis.
These are believed to have been erected between 2600 BC and 2900 BC. It's a large neolithic construction that's well worth a visit π
Minch from the book "Callanish" by William Horwood!
I am not very good at drawing birds, sorry!

Calanais Standing Stones Isle of Lewis
An extraordinary cross-shaped setting of stones erected 5,000 years ago. They predate Stonehenge and more than two thousand years olde the Egyptian pyramids, they are thought to have been an important place for rituals.
Outstanding in their field: Sunset over Callanish, courtesy of John Lawrie.
