We have been asking shelter management each week for an extension on Freckles. HE HAS 2 BEEN IN SHELTER 3 MONTHS! The shelter needed him to leave last week. Sadly, no rescue committed. Action is needed now. Freckles is rescue only, & rescues want to help, but they need experienced and committed foster homes. Are you willing to foster him? He is not as enthusiastic when we walk by him, not all wags & wiggles like he once was - seems to be losing hope which is really sad. When outside, he likes to jump up, he’s playful & does get a little mouthy with the leash if it’s doing something he doesn’t want to do. He does not do well with other dogs. A couple times we’ve walked him by other dogs & he showed no interest but there have been more times when he charged the other kennels & fence fought. He will try to dominate & re-directs when he gets over stimulated… He is pushy yes, aggressive no. Rescue only.
