Caliente BLM. Starting with the high point of the South Egan Range Wilderness, then downhill and around to a very different area. Day 2 of 3

My second day backpacking the South Egan Range Wilderness, I climbed up the high point in the morning. That's Adams benchmark. Then I got back to Ninemile Canyon for water, then traveled down to Sheep Pass Canyon and found camp on a small branch.

I went backpacking in the South Egan Range Wilderness for three days, heading up to the top of a peak once for each. The first day was wandering up Ninemile Canyon and around the hills until the top of Ninemile Mountain, then off to camp near high plateaus.
