Oh. Oh no. I'm so sorry I forgot to warn you about that. In my defense I know less than they do about the Sims so it all looks very normal to me. But yeah, they really just follow their hearts when they play it, and in their hearts there's only chaos and a complete lack of knowledge of the Sims mechanics

But hey! The characters at least are fun(?) and you have been introduced to the owl slide. Very important

That's.. that's a mental image alright. It's kind of funny because I feel like griffons always look so majestic with their long pretty wings. This one would not look like that.

See the other thing is, in a magical (more? magical? Somehow? Idk Mina helps us there) world where Junior could indeed get pregnant, would the baby actually come out just human and only change into the terrifying hybrid of nightmares if they went to the cage? Which honestly would be better than having it come out like that and then having to smuggle it into the zoo to turn it human. Like can you imagine?

And as you said in your post, would Junior technically lay an egg?

I'm enjoying it so far (<- I want to put them under a microscope), I felt the need to tell you that while watching one of the Halloween baking videos (the one with the nun sans his tights) my father walked in, watched some of it, laughed, turned to me and asked me if they finally made a Sassy Gay Cooking Show and I have not recovered.

I'm so happy you started with the unhinged baking, great beginning. Yeah, that is the main reaction, at the core being a phannie is 50% “These fucking assholes (I want what they have)” and 50% “These fucking assholes???? (what is wrong with them??)” so you are on a great path

Oh I am def biased because I actually like that game a lot but their poppy videos are so good!!! (their fnaf ones are also great because you can point and laugh at them)

...I love that. My mom has been exposed to these two since i was a teen so she does not react to most of their shit. I'm glad there are still parents out there getting brief glimpses of phan. Sassy gay cooking show, gods, they wish. Thanks for sharing that, it made my day

!!!! Calci I could cry. SO, I feel like some pretty good introductory videos from The New(er) Era are:

the pizza mukbangs. Super chill, good to put in the background, and I feel like you get a good grasp of their personalities when they aren't in full Entertainer mode.

How Phil nearly died and Why Dan had to call an ambulance are just, top tier (The medical stuff is not too bad imo, specially in the ambulance one) You get to see the way they tell stories, and also you get some of the lore about the way Phil Lester is 2 seconds away from dying constantly. Honestly, all the medical emergencies ones are good? yeah. it sounds weird but I swear they are just good content.

The baking videos are also just top tier entertainment. The cooking sucks but the banter! the jokes! the halloween one last year is just. a masterpiece (and your introduction to the very important character of sister daniel)

Dan is leaving me and I try to give Dan a haircut, also chill videos of them being so annoying (fondly)

All the What Dan and Phil text each other are just great little capsules of how weird these two are

If you want cute animal content, the calendar shoots are just great

And I would suggest going to Dan and Phil Games and really just picking the one that sounds interesting to you. I'm very partial to their horror games videos personally, but the cards against humanity type videos also appeal to me and my sense of humor. Btw by now it is more of a couple's channel than a gaming one. They just exist there and sometimes they play games

Finally of course, I would 100% recommend watching Basically I'm Gay (and Coming out to you), because of the lore but also is just a very beautiful, emotional video about being queer and the story of Dan. And if you are ready for it, watch Phil is not on fire. That's THE beginning. Its all over the place, and that's the beauty of it.

And if you are up for a longer thing, We're All Doomed is Dan's big solo show that is good for the soul if you happen to be existential and worried about the future. Its on youtube!

And apart from that really is watch whatever sounds interesting to you and if you catch the phannie bug you will slowly catch up on the lore i promise. (also the videos of them reacting to their old stuff are good)
