HOLY SHIT its done... it's actually less than my usual word count (around 2.5k words or more), which is surprising because i felt like i spent a lot of time on it. granted i did kinda go cold for a few months without writing which sucks balls but hmm
im a little worried that no one will find my fic bc theres no romantic tag on it, which is the zine requirement and my intention anyway. i wish people cared more about non-romantic relationships.. especially as standalones or main focuses,,, its ok we ball
(update: im surprised that my fic already has two comments thats crazy i didn't have a lot of tags on it)
i actually had the idea for its prequel first, which was kristoph going to a craft store uncharacteristically. was thinking about it reflecting how he really feels about the people around him, and regretting letting his soft side show. this fic would then technically be the aftermath of that craft store trip essentially. unforch didn't write it but ill work on it Soon...
for some reason i had this really retro like 1980s corporate office vibe in mind while writing it, though idk if it translated into the fic itself. i also couldnt come up with a good name for it, since it was supposed to be titled "dewy roses" at first (like the song) but it didn't sit well with the more subtle tone of it, so i changed it to the playlist i was listening to instead haha. maybe if the prequel comes out ill rename it ??
but yeah i had a blast writing this and im in the mood for writing more (if schoolwork permits...)
