After completing my nth reread of The Sweetest Oblivion, hereâs a new NicoElena fic with a dark twist full of desiresâŚbecause why choose, right? đđĽ Read it and review it on Wattpad and AO3.
SUMMARY:
Elena Abelli is in heat. Sure, sheâs blissfully happy with Nicolas Russo. But her past mistakes have opened her up to the dark world of pleasure and lust. Love and sex are separate. Sheâs sure Christian Allister agrees, since he knows about Nico and Giannaâs drunken encounter years ago. But what does Sebastian Perez know about her? And why canât she remember it?
When Gianna gives her a special candy, Elena takes the forbidden fruit. She suddenly awakens in a brand-new haze where all her secret desires can be explored. Itâs the sweetest addiction. Besides, who says Russians and Colombians canât join Italians in the fun?
EXCERPT:
I scream as he comes undone, all sinewy pleasure and swear words, and I feel myself tightening around his shaft so hard that I see stars. He grunts, spilling his seed into me as promisedâflooding my insides with so much liquid warmth that the viscous liquid trickles down my thighs. He scoops it up and shoves it back in me, then fucks me a second time. This time, when we both climax, we say each otherâs names. As we ride out our last orgasm, I can feel our bodies still; the only sound to be heard is the thumping of our heartbeats.

Killian Jones has a really loud, destructive upstairs neighbor, and he's about to lose his patience with them. But when he discovers that it's a beautiful witch with a soft spot for his dangerous familiar, Captain, that complicates things just a bit.
Chapter One:
*BANG*
Killian jumped in the air at the noise, dropping the jar of bearberry heâd been holding.
âBloody hell. That was expensive,â Killian groaned, leaning down to clean up his mess. It was far from the first time heâd dropped an expensive ingredient for one of his potions, but until recently, it had at least been his own fault. Now, however, he had a new neighbor upstairs.
A very loud neighbor.
Heâd never met them, of course, but it seemed like perhaps it was not one, but several hundred people up above his head.
Or perhaps several hundred elephants.
*BANG* *CRASH*
Thatâs it, Killian thought to himself, grabbing his broom.
*TAP TAP TAP*
He poked the handle of the broom against his ceiling at what he hoped was a loud enough volume that the mysterious, noise-making neighbor would hear it. He didnât dare poke any harder for fear of breaking the old thing clean in half.
*BANG BANG BANG*
It was the unmistakable sound of a foot being stomped on the ground above his head, at the same rhythm at which heâd just poked the broom.
âSeriously? Is there a six-year-old living above me now?â Killian grumbled at what he thought was an appropriate level for his own living space.
âNo, is there a jackass living below me now?â a muffled voice responded from above.
Ah, his new neighbor was a woman then. At least he knew something about her now, although that didnât make him any less frustrated by her noise level or the fact that she could apparently hear him through the floor of her apartment.
âNo, just someone whoâs tired of dropping all of his expensive ingredients due to a bunch of surprising noises from above!â Killian yelled back.
âThen maybe you should be more careful!â
âPot, meet kettle!â
There was silence then.
Followed by a lot of noise on the stairwell, and then a loud banging on Killianâs door.
He groaned.
âCome to show your face then, finally?â he asked as he swung the door open, holding it carefully so that his familiar, Captain, was just out of view. What he saw in front of him was⌠not what he expected. The woman standing in his doorway, who was so angry there were literal red waves of infuriated energy coming off of her, was beautiful.
Beautiful, and angry, and with a loud, vibrant energy that glowed around her much brighter than anyone heâd seen before.
Of course.
He held the door steady with his right hand, ignoring Captainâs low groan from the couch.
It wasnât that Killian was ashamed of Captain. Not at all. Killian was quite proud of the large creature taking up residence on his couch. It was just that Captain was⌠misunderstood.
Growing up, as all of his friends had started showing off their familiars, Killian had been without one. He had waited, and waited, and waited. He wanted to know that companionship so badly. But it wasnât until his older brother had died that Captain had appeared. Without Liam, Killian was forced to grow up very quickly, and so Captain had been borne of grief, sorrow, and loneliness.
The problem was that Captain wasnât an ordinary familiar. Most witches had created birds or cats, or even a few dogs. There were a few others -- some large cats among his friends with tendencies toward dark magic.
But Killianâs own familiar was the only hybrid heâd ever seen. Captain was larger than a panther, though he had the look of one. He had a lionâs mane, which would have looked a bit out of place if not for his constant look of regality, and huge bat-like wings. He was quite intimidating to say the least.
At first, before Killian had realized just how out-of-place his familiar was, heâd ventured out as usual, walking down the street to the store at any time of day, Captain steady by his side.
But then the strange looks had begun, and the whispers. It took Killian a month to realize that people were, in fact, scared of him.
âItâs not your fault,â Ruby, the witch who ran the local herb store, told him. Ruby had been the only person to tell Killian to his face that his familiar was⌠not normal. She was also the only person whose energy didnât immediately turn to a cold, ice blue whenever they saw Killian with his familiar by his side. âYou said his nameâs Captain?â Killian nodded. âWell, Captain looks pretty dangerous, you know? Which means⌠you could be dangerous. So⌠thatâs why people are acting so strangely.â
Killian didnât ask why she wasnât afraid of him. The glint in her eye told him he probably didnât want to know.
Ashamed of himself and whatever danger must lie in his soul, Killian had stopped venturing out during the day. Ruby stayed at work late whenever he needed supplies, and that arrangement had meant that no one new had seen Captain in about five years.
It also meant that Killian hadnât really spoken to anyone besides Ruby and the grocery delivery boy in that long.
Until right now.
âCan you please stop banging on your ceiling when Iâm trying to work?â the angry blonde woman nearly screamed in his face. âItâs very distracting, and Iâm working with very sensitive spells.â
âPardon, milady, but your raucous noises are causing me quite a bit of disturbance as well.â Killian gestured towards the mess of bearberry on the floor of his kitchen. âThat was rather expensive, and I canât get to the store for at least another six hours.â
He winced, realizing belatedly that heâd revealed too much. He was really terrible at the whole personal interaction thing.
Just a bit rusty, he thought to himself.
âWhy not?â the woman asked, arching an eyebrow suspiciously.
âI⌠er⌠I canâtâŚâ Killian stammered. Finally, after an embarrassing amount of ear scratching (his) and death stares (hers), he decided it might just be easier to show her than to continue this silent battle. âThis is Captain,â he said, opening the door wider and revealing the oversized winged panther lying on top of his couch. âIf you cross the threshold, I canât promise he wonât do something stupid. Heâs very protective.â
âHeâs beautiful,â she said quietly, and the energy around her shifted from dark, angry red to a soft green. âIâm Emma,â she added as an afterthought, holding out her hand.
âKillian,â he said, shaking her hand once. âKillian Jones.â
âWell, Killian, Iâm sorry I made you spill your⌠what exactly was that?â
âBearberry,â he answered automatically. She looked genuinely apologetic, and Killian wasnât sure what exactly changed her attitude, but he was certainly thankful for it.
âIâll try to keep it down, or at least give you some warning.â She smiled softly at him.
âEr⌠thanks. Thank you,â he responded awkwardly. She nodded once and then turned towards the stairs to go back to her apartment.
An hour later, there was a soft knock at Killianâs door. He looked through the peephole, but no one was there. Cautiously, he opened the door just a tad, and there was a soft thud by his feet.
A bundle of bearberry had fallen over without the door to hold it up. There was a note, and Killian found himself smiling before he had even opened it.
Mr. Jones, I apologize again for making you spill your bearberry. This should be enough to get you through for a bit. Iâve also thrown in a small treat for Captain.
Enjoy,
E. Swan
********
The strange thing about quiet is that it makes you miss the noise. So when two days went by without a single crash, boom, or clunk from upstairs, Killian grew worried. It took him a third day to gather up the courage to knock on her door.
As soon as it opened, he heard a whole plethora of noises. Whirrs and clanks and, of course, crashes.
âSwan, what the hell?â
He wasnât sure why it came out of his mouth. But when sheâd signed the note âE. Swanâ heâd pictured her and her beautiful face and well⌠okay, she wasnât exactly graceful or swanlike but somehow, still, âSwanâ seemed to suit her.
She hesitated a moment, a blush creeping up her neck.
âI charmed the apartment. So you wouldnât hear⌠all of this.â She grabbed a loose strand of hair and started twisting it in her hands. âI felt bad. About before.â
It really wasnât a grand gesture. She had cast a fairly simple charm so that her neighbors wouldnât be disturbed by all the noise constantly coming from her apartment. A miniscule part of Killianâs brain wondered why she hadnât done that to begin with, but he ignored it in favor of the more prominent thought in his mind: sheâd done this for him.
âYou didnât have to⌠thatâs very kind.â
An awkward silence fell over them before Killian glanced behind her into her apartment. It was nearly identical to his in layout, but where he kept his living space organized and tidy, Emma lived in what looked to be the middle of a biohazard. There were potions and ingredients and empty jars on nearly every surface. A stack of boxes towered far too high for Killianâs comfort just beside the dining room table. And a strange metal contraption right in the middle of the kitchen seemed to be the source of all the noise, whirring away and shaking far more than it looked like it should be.
And there, on the couch, lay a giant white⌠creature.
He knew, of course, that this must be her familiar. What he couldnât figure out was what exactly it was. It looked both furry and feathered, and as Killian stared at it, the white color heâd originally seen started morphing into spots. And then stripes. And then back to white.
A/n: this is my first fic/drabble, so feedback is welcome!Â
I was listening to this song when I got the idea for this and Iâm not sure if it was going for more sad or hopeful, but this is gonna be more on the sad side.
                           ~~~
Quickly walking to the door and slamming it out of anger, Uraraka huffed as she turned towards the fridge. Making her way over to it, she opened it and stuck her head in the cool air, letting the air cool off her face, along with her temper. After a while, she grabbed a water and turned around, set on going to the guest room to lay down only to stop at the sight of a very familiar box.
Uraraka sat in the middle of the floor next to the box, staring around at her half empty apartment. Putting on a playlist, she started going through the miscellaneous things from their UA days that he had left behind. Several pictures of one of them that the other had taken, them with their friends, and about double that of them together.
You say thereâs so much you donât know
You need to go and find yourself
You say youâd rather be alone
âCause you think you wonât find it tied to someone else
She paused as the song started to play, torn between changing it and listening it out to cry her eyes out to. Reaching for her phone, Urarakaâs gazed landed on the small pink stuffed mochi looking plush that he had won for her at one of the festivals.
Ooh, who said itâs true
That the growing only happens on your own?
They donât know me and you
Tears welled up in her eyes as she redirected her hand to pick up the plushie. Bringing it close to her, she hugged it and let the tears fall remembering every detail of that day.
How cute she looked in the new yukata that she had allowed herself to splurge on, and how he wore one that matched hers.
Spending most of the day with their peers and friends, then once night fell, everyone split off on their own or into groups. They had decided to try and make a little date out of it, at least until they had to meet up for the fireworks display where the who class had decided to watch from.
How he had been so proud to win this very plushie for her, and how he had kissed her cheek as he gave it to her, saying it reminded him of how sweet she was.
I donât think you have to leave
If to change is what you need
You can change right next to me
When youâre high, Iâll take the lows
You can ebb and I can flow
And weâll take it slow
And grow as we go
Grow as we go
You wonât be the only one
I am unfinished, Iâve got so much left to learn
I donât know how this river runs
But Iâd like the company through every twist and turn
The scene changed to their graduation. Him standing in front of everyone of 3-A making a small speech before the ceremony. They all couldnât wait to work together and grow to be better Pros. Together.
The Ceremony was a high point for all of them. They were finally done with the school part, on to the real work until. Sure, they had their internships since their first year, but this is where it would all really count. They had made names for themselves, now to show that it wasnât the wrong choice to train them.
Time for them to work towards making their own agencies.
You donât ever have to leave
If to change is what you need
You can change right next to me
When youâre high, Iâll take the lows
You can ebb and I can flow
And weâll take it slow
And grow as we go
Grow as we go
Grow as we go
Grow as we go
It wasnât a few months after graduation that they had moved in together. Starting the next chapter of their lives together. Moving all of their stuff from the dorms and their parentâs houses was a chore in and of itself, but they were too excited at the prospect of having a little home together.
Home. It sounded so nice to the both of them.
They would be at separate agencies, but this place was all theirs and they couldnât wait to see what waited for them in the future.
I donât know who weâll become
I canât promise itâs not written in the stars
But I believe that when itâs done
That we grew up together
Then there was the day he told her he was leaving for America. It broke her heart, and she begged him not to go.
Of course, he wanted her to come with him, but she couldnât. She couldnât take the same risk with her career that he could, not when she was trying so hard to help out her parents.
They fought over it, for weeks before the day he was set to leave. Today.
âTell me you donât wanna leave.â She begged him one last time.
Picking up his last box, the love of her life turned to face her. Staring down at his old red sneakers, his voice was hoarse as he replied, âAs much as I would love to Ochako, I canât do it anymore,â he sighed, âMy plane with All Might leaves soon, do you want to come with me to see me off?â
Getting angry with him, she yelled at him, âIf you donât want to stay, I donât want to see you off.â She turned her back to him as soon as she finished.
She heard him sigh before he ended the conversation, âIf thatâs how itâs going to be then fine. But I do love you Ochako, please donât doubt that.â
Turning around to yell at him some more, she found he was already goneâŚ.
 It was only about 20 minutes later when Bakugou had come to check on her. He knew that Deku left today, and after he and Pink Cheeks had started training and being friends since the beginning of their second year, he knew he had to be the one to help her through this. He had knocked on the door twice before pulling out the key that they had forced him to take.
Walking in, he saw the pictures from UA scattered about, along with Uraraka crying. Hearing the song that she had playing, his face softened a tiny bit. Walking over, he picked up her phone and turned the song off. Setting the phone back beside her, he knelt down before putting his hand on her head.
âOi, Pink Cheeks.â
Uraraka finally looked up from the pictures, only for more tears to gather in her eyes. âWas I not good enough for him to stay, Tsuki?â
Rolling his eyes at the awful nickname she always called him, he comforted her, âNo, Cheeks. Deku is just a shitty nerd who doesnât know whatâs good for him.â
âThen why wouldnât he stay for me?â
âCause the nerd thinks he has to do exactly the same as All Might. Now come on, Frogger and Icy-hot are waiting at my place. They have ice cream and your favorite shitty horror movies waiting for you.â
âHow did they know?â
âCause Deku told me weeks ago what was going on, and I knew you would need someone there for you.â
Uraraka tackled Bakugou in a hug, âyouâre the best friend, you know that right?â
âYeah, Yeah, now get the hell off, we gotta get going.â
This is how it happens:
It's three a.m. The night is heavy and dark around your sleepless form, while the heat of their breath on the back of your neck calls you back from your slumberless dreams.
Nightmares crawl from the foot of your bed, insidious whispers tying themselves like thread around your nerve endings and when the pain gets too much
Their fingers brush against your and the horrors dissipate from reality.
In that moment you realize that nothing will ever be more right.
This is how it happens:
It's midday. The sun hangs high in the sky and still seems dim compared to their smile. Even gods can't compare in this moment,under a sun burning cooler than the passion in your heart.
They turn their smile to you and you never knew you were such a masochist, but you almost enjoy the dripping wax branding your skin.
You reach out, fingers aching to remember their softness,
But no mortal can touch a god.
This is how it happens:
In the light of a setting sun. Your heart drops like a stone through the chasm of your body as you watch them leave, drops like the tears streaming in rivers down the valleys of their cheeks.
It tears you apart and you can feel blood and bile clawing up your throat, but you can't cough it out because it's easier to swallow so much pain than to keep hurting them.
So you watch and hurt and tell yourself it's fine
And promise that if you repeat it enough, it won't be a lie.
This is how it happens:
In stolen touches and subtle moments, in the times where it feels like your soul is shattering inside the cage of your body.
And in moments where it feels like the stars are crashing around the two of you and nothing else in the world matters.
This is how you love.
This is how you lose.
Summary: Jack and Geoff have held their portions of Achievement City for years just the two of them, until the Corpirate starts threatening their territory. They set out to expand their two-man crew, and find a way to take the Corpirate down once and for all.
I try, though there are over 100 sitting in my inbox right now waiting for responses đŠ
6. Whatâs the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I usually include comfort in my hurt/comfort fics, but "Desired, Subsumed" (Law loses to Vergo and is taken back to Dressrosa) doesn't have a happy ending.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest end?
I've written some fluffy fics in addition to my trademark whump. Most of my ship fics have happy endings. In addition to the ones that have already been mentioned, a few of my softest fics are Our Hearts Made Whole in Each Other (post-1081 Lawlu), Healing Hands and Healing Hearts (post-Dressrosa Lawlu bedsharing), Heart with Its Hands Full (OG Hearts on Swallow), No Stranger to Crazy (Lawlu at a winter festival), Always See the Daylight (Luffy visits Law on the Tang), I Want Your Laughter (Like the Flower I Was Waiting For) (Luffy tries to make Law smile 5+1), Coming Home (To Breathe Again, To Start Again) (post-Wano Lawlu), and Carry You Home (Law and Bepo softness).
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I've had a few negative comments, but they're rare, thankfully.
9. Do you write smut?
It's not my strong suit, but yes.
10. Do you write crossovers?
I've written some in the past but haven't with One Piece. Yet.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I did have a few fics caught up in some of those theft scandals.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I've had one fic translated and a few offers that never panned out.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I haven't. I think it would be fun, though!
14. Whatâs your all-time favorite ship?
Current favorite is Lawlu. Y'all know I love me some Doflaw as well. Some of my other all-timers are Bangel (Buffy), Seblaine (Glee), Eruri (Attack on Titan), AvaLance (Legends of Tomorrow), Captain Swan (Once Upon a Time), BuckySam (MCU), and Kurama/Yusuke (Yu Yu Hakusho).
15. Whatâs a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
Probably Inside a Broken Dream. I started that like... four years ago? I have a general sense of where it was going, but I think I'd want to rework it entirely at this point, and I have too many other WIP and plot bunnies.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I like to think I have strong characterization, description, and dialogue. Y'all can tell me if I'm wrong đ
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I struggle with action sequences and explicit scenes, for sure.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?
I am monolingual, so I don't want to fuck anything up. I would usually just say that something was said in a different language. Here and there, I'll borrow words or phrases but that's it.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Harry Potter
20. Favorite fic youâve ever written?
Oh, that's really hard. If we're sticking with One Piece, "To Call Myself Beloved," "(I Made My Mind) A Sunless Space," and "Lead Me Back to Suffering" are obvious choices. To pick something that hasn't been mentioned already, though, I really love The Night Is Darkening Round Me (paranormal AU), There Is Still Room for Love (time travel Lawlu), No Matter How Gilded (arranged marriage AU), Lost and Found (You) (5+1 Lawlu), and Tastes of Heartache and War (assassin!AU and royalty!AU Lawlu).
Outside of One Piece, I will forever be fond of my Not Words 'verse, a Seblaine AU series.
I'm lazy, so consider yourself tagged if you'd like to fill this out.
