ambessa has two hands but she just need one to hold them. ♡

And after hours of going she tells Cait to finish in this same exact tone😵‍💫

but ambessa is still a nurturing woman who understands how to dangle her approval over caitlyn's head, because she recognizes that maternal approval is something caitlyn is desperate for and can't necessarily have in the way she actually wants it. but she can vey for ambessa's attention and approval and when she praises her as she would a daughter it feels pretty close.

in the same breathe, ambessa is not her mother obviously, but she's an older, more experienced woman. and while she's certainly not someone her family would approve of her seeing in a romantic or sexual connotation the way they may have maddie, for obvious reasons, it doesn't really matter when she can fill both the hole her mother left and the vacuum vi created in one foul swoop.

ambessa, who's shown interest in younger people (see Local Cuisine), is calculated and perceptive. she clearly knows caitlyn is craving the approval of an older woman, a role she can easily fill and she cites how it was easier to manipulate caitlyn to her whim while she was in her feelings about violet and distracting herself with maddie and the ideals of her mother.
