for example, i can’t really self insert as caleb’s mc because his mc very much gives younger sister energy (lol duh), which is obviously so important to their relationship dynamic. am i a younger sister? yes. do i give younger sister energy? definitely not. i definitely embrace my older sister role/energy instead.

however, i guess i could see caleb trying to take on that older brother figure role in my life, especially when he learns how much i despise my actual older brothers. he wants to show me how it’s supposed to feel to have an older brother who actually takes care of me and protects me. but he has to approach this very subtly because he knows how resistant i would be if i were to catch on to what he’s doing…
