Way back in my memory, there's a scene that I recall. Haha. Only one thing sticks in my mind whenever somebody asks me this question: Anong course kukunin mo sa college? I will answer BA Journalism right away. Being on the school publication at that time, I'm so much of a writing enthusiast and it influenced me big time in choosing BA Journ to be my course, so filling out the boxes on the first 2 courses of my choice, I wrote down AB Journ as one of my choices, hoping that I will pass it but the turn of events at that time were not the way I expect it to be.
I was one among the many students who was not able to get a slot for AB Journ and I was extremely sad because, c'mon, I was just one step closer to it. Isang lukso na lang girl tapos biglang ganon? Pag nasa waiting list nga naman, oh. As to my other choice, I passed it along with the interview but I find the incident really funny until now na kapag naiisip ko narerealize ko na ang chaki ko talaga noon. Hahaha. I was not able to pass my credentials and that's it. I don't want to stretch this story too long. Haha. Anyways, so the assistant dean of the faculty told us, (our faces at that time were all sour-looking one, I swear. Hahaha! Kulang na lang magsigawan ng boo inside the room. LOL) to choose another program or course which still has available slots. Among the AB courses available were AB Eco, AB Socio, AB Lit. (UP and UST lang, actually. Hahaha.) So, I kept on pushing myself on the wall. I kept on praying na sana talaga this would not be the end of me. Haha. Until the asst. dean announced the last course available. *drum roll* *spotlight* AB Communication Arts. HOLY COW. Shining bright like a diamond. Haha. I was mentally shouting with so much OA-ness because my mind was saying na THAT'S IT BABY. GRAB IT NOW!! I felt like my brain was kicking my ass. Damn it, baby. AB Journ and AB Comm Arts, close enough. So, I hurriedly stood up since it was announced that they will only accommodate the first 30 students na tatayo.
And I was all in. And I am now in my junior year, loud and proud. CA represent! Haha. Let me call that unfortunate event a blessing in disguise. Mas nakilala ko pa sarili ko at nalaman ko talaga kung anong misyon ko sa buhay. Taray! Well, masaya talaga sa CA kasi hindi ko alam. Oh, the perks of being a CA student. Basta masaya. Shet. CA life is beyond words. Minsan sa sobrang pagmamahal, appreciation at gratefulness mo sa isang bagay, you're too lost for words to describe the feeling. Right? Basta, I'm happy where I am right now. CA life taught me things na nag-contribute sa pagkatao ko ngayon, in a good way. Haha. Wala nga akong kaalam-alam na may lihim pala akong pag-ibig sa media.
Marami pa akong mapagdadaanan at matututunan sa CA. Learning is a never-ending process, ika nga.
I don't get it. Why am I even sharing this? I'm supposed to finish my paper in Political Dynamics. Why?? I should have wrote to MMK. Hahaha. Dahil siguro sa internship seminar kanina? Na-overdose ata ako sa sobrang pagfafangirl from advertising to events. Hahaha. I don't know.
So I think this is it. Adios! :D
