Let's just say that the dynamic between Al and Forest (my OC, whom I prefer to call by his last name because I'm lazy) is that of siblings, and well, let's just say it sometimes borders on incest (although would it really be incest if Ichor doesn't count as DNA? I have no idea). It's mostly due to Al's dependence on Forest and vice versa. They love each other very much and are very dependent on each other, and both are very protective and can be somewhat volatile. And I have several AUs, both post-canon and canon. (Forest, following his brother to Princess Andromeda, bites his tongue, reluctant to offer an opinion because the situation doesn't favor neutrality, especially given the overall scenario and the likely threat of death in the Battle of Manhattan) (Post-canon: Forest is Hecate's only child in the Yia cabin since Lou Ellen has already graduated, and besides turning 15, he's not in his right mind. He encounters Alabaster for the first time, mistaking him for a nymph while performing a ritual at a lake. Forest's obsession with the first sentient being who treated him with respect and understanding clearly indicates his mental instability. After being claimed, he understands that Alabaster is his brother, which only strengthens his desire to hunt him down and protect him. Alabaster, on the other hand, feels the need to care for Forest because he's the older brother and can't allow another sibling to die, especially not in his presence. (Forest is fortunate that Thanatos is breathing down his neck)

Fatal flaw: Distrust of others and holding grudges. Due to how magic is viewed Ash has a tendency to not trust anyone outside their cabin and keep to themselves, they also remember everything people have done to them and hold grudges about it.
