There is a lot of flavor in this quick and easy Pork and Cabbage Skillet. The ground pork is rich, the cabbage is crunchy, and the seasonings are Asian-inspired. It's an easy meal that's great for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 1 small green cabbage, shredded. 1 onion, finely chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon honey. Salt and black pepper to taste. Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.
Instructions: On medium heat, brown the ground pork in a large skillet. Cook it all the way through. If you need to, drain the extra fat. Put chopped onion in the pan and cook it until it gets soft. Add the ground ginger and minced garlic and stir them in. Cook for another one to two minutes, until the food smells good. Shred the cabbage and add it to the pan. For about 5 to 7 minutes, stir-fry the cabbage until it is soft and wilted. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey in a small bowl with a whisk. Cover the pork and cabbage with the sauce. Mix well to cover everything. To taste, add salt and black pepper. Keep cooking for another three to five minutes, or until everything is hot and well mixed. Before serving, top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Boil the pork and cabbage in a pan. Then, serve it hot with noodles or rice. Enjoy the wonderful mix of flavors!
