A Wedding

Grant stood in the grooms suite and sighed as he paced the room. Taking off his black suit jacket and throwing it on the couch, he sighed. “Dude you need to relax,” Tyler laughed putting a hand on his shoulder. Grant nodded before taking out his phone and decided to text L. “Hey. I miss your face. You sure you want to be stuck with me the rest of your life?” He texted with a smirk on his face before looking up and seeing his mom come in.
Andrea: was just as nervous if not more - the day had finally arrived and by the end of the night, she would be Mrs. Andrea Allay Gustin and she would be married to whom she labeled as her best friend in the whole world. Not only did she label him that by choice, but her heart had decided so long ago. The finishing touches were being done to her makeup, her eyes closed as she tried to keep herself calm. Upon the chime of her phone, she opened her eyes and she couldn't help the smile. "Funny thing because.. I sorta wanna kiss all over yours right now. I'm so sure. Are you sure you're ready to deal with me forever?" Her eyes watered as a new wave of happiness washed over her and she had to blink several times to contain the tears. "Don't cry, you're gonna ruin our makeup," Christina chuckled.
Grant leaned back and got less nervous when she replied back. “You’ll get your chance to kiss all over my face,” he typed hacked. “I’m so ready to deal with you forever. I love you, dork. I’ll see you in well ten,” he said looking at his watch and then rolled his eyes when his mother practically begged him to put the jacket on and look presentable. “You ready to marry my sister?” Jon asked with a smirk. “You have no idea,” Grant laughed as he headed out of the suite and down towards the ceremony space. Decked out in everything L liked, he smiled knowing how perfect it was. He waved hello and greeted everyone before taking his place up front.
Andrea: knew just how lucky she was, even if Grant always tried to make her believe otherwise and turned it around with 'i'm the lucky one'. In the end, they were both lucky to be marrying their best friend and soulmate. That's what this man was to her, even when he was annoying her. He was her partner in crime (of laughter and pranks). Time seemed to fly. One moment Grace was helping her remember to take the bouquet of flowers, the next she was being walked down the isle. But not without sharing hugs and small tears of joy with her mother and her future mother in law. Andrea nervously walked with her father, arm in arm as their family and close friends stood from their seats. The orchestra played the anthem of matrimony and her heart wanted to dance out of her chest as she finally locked eyes with the man she would be marrying. "Hi," she mouthed and her bottom lip quivered through her smile as realization dawned on her. Their day had finally arrived.
Grant stood up at the alter and let out a sigh. He made a face at his sister when she came down and smiled when he saw their little flower girls walking down. It wasn’t until the music changed that he looked up and let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. Feeling a knot in his throat, his eyes watered with tears. He couldn’t believe this was happening and they were finally getting married. “Hi..” he mouthed back trying not to crack. Shaking her fathers hand and giving him a hug, he held his hand out to Andrea and walked her up. Standing in front of her, he took both her hands and tried to even put his breathing so he didn’t start crying.
Andrea: loved that their families played such big roles in their wedding, if one thing was for sure it’s that both Grant and her were family oriented and family played huge parts in who they’d come to be and fall in love with in each other. She was ready to be committed to this man and his family. She could tell that he too was nervous as his smile quivered and his eyes were glossed over. Once she was handed off to Grant, she grinned up at him, her own eyes glossed over since the beginning of the ceremony as well. She held his hands after she wiped a tear from the corner of his eye. As the priest spoke his opening words of the ceremony, all Andrea could think about was that this was officially the start of their forever. Her heart raced as the moment went on and it was time for hers and Grants vows.
Grant looked down at Andrea and smiled as he listened to the priest speak. Not really paying attention to what he was saying, only looking at her. This was it, this was their forever. Never in a million years would he think this would happen and now it finally was. When it was time for the vows, Grant let out a deep breath before laughing a little. "Grant and Andrea have decided to write their own vows. Grant," the priest said before taking a step back. "I should have written something, but I couldn't. L, you were it the moment I saw your picture. I know, I'm creepy and asked Tyler who you were and then followed you. I get that. But when I actually got the courage to message you and we talked, there was something about you that just worked. I had just come out of a sucky relationship, feeling like I couldn't find anyone with the line of work I do. Then you came into my life. As I talked to you more and more, I feel in love with the most beautiful, smartest, kindest woman on the planet. It was easy for me to fall in love with you because you made it easy. I don't know what I would do without you and I know some days are rough, I get that. They'll be rough and hard and we'll scream at each other and fight, but at the end of the day I know you are always going to come back. You've been there with me, come into my life, hell going to comic con sealed the deal for me," he laughed before continuing, "I love you and I swear to protect you in everything that we do, that you do. You're amazing and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my little goober," he chuckled as his thumbs brushed against her hands. The priest looked over at Andrea and nodded at her to begin.
Andrea: was lost in Grant's presence in the moment, and it felt as if they were the only two people before the priest. Her eyes were locked in with his beautiful green ones. The ones that caused butterflies to erupt in her stomach since day one-just one stare could do that to her. She could have never foreseen this moment pre-engagement, but then again, every day since they began dating he was the one that she wanted to turn to for everything good and bad. Grant's words caused her plan of holding off on the tears to be of no use. Her heart felt like it would burst any moment with happiness and utter bliss. When she felt the priest's attention on her and Grant went silent, she knew that it was her turn. At first her voice was meek and she felt heat rise to her cheeks as she cleared her voice. Andrea was never one to force herself into a spotlight, so the fact that she was under a microscope made her nervous, but she knew that she could and would get through it. She took a deep breath and smiled. "I will never forget the picture that started it all.. I was a mess, a complete mess actually. I had just come from a workout but there was something about the sun and I-I don't know, the inspiration hit me. I was just a girl taking a post-workout selfie. Tyler liked it and then out of nowhere, you came up. Your follow shocked me but because I didn't feel like I was anything special to have caught your attention. At my craziest and most natural state, you saw me as something more. You have always tried your best to make me feel at home no matter where I am or where we are. We've told each other things that not even our friends know and every day I feel as though I am falling all over in love with my best friend. Because that's what you are. You're my best friend and my other half. I'm lucky to be standing here before you, not because you're the man who plays the Flash, but because you're my best friend and I get to spend the rest of my life with you. I've experienced things with you, gone places that I never dreamed of. You are a dream come true and being here with you, marrying you is but a dream come true. I love you, Thomas Grant Gustin." She wanted right then and there to wrap herself around him and kiss him into tomorrow, but she knew her chance was just around the corner.
Grant looked down at her with tears in his eyes as he heard her speak. There was something about her words that just spoke from the heart. He knew she hated this, but she was doing amazing. Like they were the only two people there. His hand reached up and brushed a tear out of her eye before laughing. He shook his head when she finished and tried to hold it together before looking at the priest. "Saying your own vows makes my job easier," he joked. Grant chuckled before getting handed the rings. "Alright, now Grant taking her ring please place it on her finger and repeat after me. Do you, Thomas Grant Gustin, take, Andrea Allay Thoma, as your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold from this day forward as long as you both shall live?" Looking at Andrea he nodded, "I do," he smiled placing the ring on her finger. "Andrea repeat after me. Do you, Andrea Allay Thoma, take, Thomas Grant Gustin, as your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward as long as you both shall live?" Holding out his hand to her, Grant smiled before looking at the priest hoping this was it. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!" Grant laughed before wrapping his arms around her and leaned in to kiss her dipping her a little.
Andrea: smiled and subtly leaned into Grant's palm as he wiped the tear. She chuckled as the priest made his remark and lightened the mood, making it easier to get through the moment. As Grant placed her wedding band on her finger, she felt her heart begin to race as it did while she very nervously placed his ring on it's designated finger. "I do," she answered as she looked up at Grant. Finally! She was able to kiss her husband, her other half in matrimony now. Her partner for life. She locked her lips against his and held onto his gracefully, much to her surprise and that was when she remembered that they had an audience - when the crowd erupted in cheers and applause in response to their kiss. She felt tears escape once again but this time she didn't have a care in the world. She pecked his lips repeatedly and kissed her husband several times with a soft chuckle. "I love you," she whispered as she leaned her forehead against his. "Forever."
Grant chuckled when he pulled away from her and heard the audience start to cheer. He kept kissing her back, still not believing that she was finally his wife. "I love you more," he said leaning down against her. "Forever and always," he smiled before taking her hand and leading her back down the aisle. When they got into the hallway, Grant picked her up and spun her around. "We're married!" he exclaimed as he held her with one arm. "Now let's party!!" He leaned down and kissed her again before laughing.
Andrea: was already head over heels with this man, now she was just deliciously swooning over him. Just when she thought that she'd met all of his cuteness in the past, he continued to make her laugh. She held onto him as they were alone in the hallway for that very small moment, cheering with him. "And it's forever!" She grinned as she took his face in her hands and kissed him again and again. "Party time," she chuckled and laced their hands together as people began swarming around them. "Let's get going?" She said as she looked around.
Grant held her close while they were standing in the hallway. "And it's forever," he smiled as he leaned down and kissed her softly. When people started swarming, he nodded. "Yeah come on. We got pictures to take," he smiled as he wrapped an arm around her and headed to his brother who of course was being their photographer. After a lot of pictures, it was finally time to party, but not before sneaking in a few moments alone with his now wife. "We needed this," he chuckled as he pushed her towards an empty hallway and leaned down to kiss her.
Andrea: was beyond thrilled and enamored with the man and she as now his wife. That brought a wave of emotions over her - happiness, joy, completing wholesomeness. You name it, she felt it. She was almost light headed with delight. After pictures with family and friends and even of the two sharing kisses and glances at each other, the newlyweds found themselves in a hallway, alone and in the closest to silence they'd be for a while. She sighed as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close. Their lips connected and she couldn't contain the smile that played a part into the kiss. "We did," she managed to whisper as her hand came to caress the back of his neck. "It's official. I mean, I've been yours unconditionally but... now.." she kissed him again and her heart raced as she dove into the moment and allowed herself to be free with him, however long it would last for before someone else would find them and pull them to some sort of wedding activity.
Grant smiled down at him and sighed. "Now we're officially married," he smiled as he kissed her cheek. "God, I just want to take you home and not deal with people," he chuckled as his hands ran up her sides. It wasn't until he heard his name that he sighed and dropped his head on her shoulder. "Maybe later..." he groaned before turning around and seeing their mothers telling them to hurry to the reception hall.
Andrea: chuckled softly as she knew that his wishes were impossible to be granted, for now at least. She kissed his cheek as he lowered his head onto her shoulder and pat his back softly. "Come on. The mama's have called." She teased and took his hand and tugged him in the direction of the reception hall. She held his arm as they were cheered upon and roses and ribbons were tossed at them in celebration for their official first entrance as a married couple. "Go big or go home," she chuckled as she looked up at Grant and walked into the center of the ballroom with him.
Grant pouted at Andrea's words before shaking his head and followed her. When they walked to the reception hall, he laughed when everyone started cheering. Walking out to the center of the ballroom, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. Taking one of her hands, he swayed to the song they had picked out for their first dance. "You know I'm used to people looking at me, but this is a whole other level," he whispered to her before laughing.
Andrea: laughed lightly with Grant as she swayed with him, her hand in his as she looked up at him. "I have always said it and I will continue to-I admire you for doing so well with so many constant prying eyes every day. It's so overwhelming. Just remember that they're all here celebrating how crazy in love we are." She smiled warmly as she leaned her head against him, her temple resting against his jaw as she timidly leaned against him.
Grant smiled at her words. "You'll get used to it," he smiled as he swayed with her. "And they are all so jealous," he chuckled as he glanced around the room. He sighed when he leaned against him and placed a kiss on her head. When the song finally ended, Grant looked around and then at the DJ. "Come on, let's liven up this party!" Grant cheered before looking back at Andrea and started dancing with her when the music got faster. Hands wrapping around her from behind, he swayed as he laughed. As the night went on and they talked with everyone, he sighed. Somehow getting lost from Andrea, he looked around before spotting her. Undoing his tie and letting it hang off his shoulders. "Babe.." he called out as he wrapped an arm around her. "You ready to go?" he asked with a smirk on his face.
Andrea: chuckled as he was right - one would assume that it came as second nature to her because of who she was surrounded by and the man she was now married to of course, but the girl still had her moments where it wasn't something easy to get through. She smiled though because she knew she had him to get through the moment with, him and his corny jokes. The night carried on as did they; photos were taken, cake was cut and fed, frosting smeared even and drinks shared. Andrea was pulled in different directions and by different people for photo ops and congratulatory hugs. When Grant wrapped his arm around her, she grinned and looked back at him. She lifted a hand backwards to his cheek and tucked her face into him, nuzzling her forehead against his cheek. "I'm ready when you are," she said before she chuckled and turned around so that she could see his smirk. She got the idea and said her goodbyes to the current group she was speaking with, hugs and kisses shared once again. "I have kissed so many cheeks tonight, I'm surprised that my lipstick is still in tact!" She chuckled as she wrapped her arm around his back and pulled him against her. "Let's get outta here," she grinned and puckered her lips up at her husband.
Grant nuzzled her back before nodding. "I'm definitely ready," he said before also saying his goodbyes to friends and family. Hugging his parents and siblings, he shook his head at his mother who of course was crying. "Because it's amazing lipstick," he chuckled before kissing her lips. "For real. I need out of these clothes," he laughed as he headed out to the car everyone had decorated with 'Just Married' signs. Thankfully their bags were packed and they could finally spend the alone time they deserved. Parking at the hotel they were going to stay at, he hopped out and opened the door for Andrea. "Ready, wife?" he asked with a smile on his face. Once they checked in and everything was all set, he walked up to their room and managed to scoop her up in his arms. "I mean I gotta do the whole carry the bride over the threshold thing," he chuckled as he walked into their room. Setting her down, he kissed her before throwing his jacket off and plopping down on the bed looking up at the ceiling. "We're freaking married!"
Andrea: just knew that his smile had to match the one that played over her painted lips as he referred to her as his wife. Sure, it was obvious and they had just officially celebrated the legal state of their matrimony, but it didn't take away from the magic that she felt when he used it. "Soo ready, husband." She took his hand and happily pranced her small self into the hotel with him where they would be staying. She could stop looking down at her hand. It was official and forever and it was almost like the rings made it all the more real. She couldn't contain her giggles as he scooped her up and walked her into their suite. "You just gotta." She shrugged playfully and held onto him until she was placed down. Firstly, she took her heels off and placed them on one of the tables then she walked over to the bed and tried her best to do as he did, holding the dress down as so to give her space. She sighed as she closed her eyes for a moment and felt for his hand on the bed. "And it's forever."
Grant couldn't help but smile when he felt her hand. "It's forever. Now you're stuck with me," he chuckled as he turned over so he was above her looking down. "I love you, Andrea Gustin," he smirked as he started kissing her neck. Getting a little uncomfortable, Grant moved a little and let out a sigh. "You know none of this is sexy when these clothes are terrible," he laughed as he head dipped to her shoulder placing a soft kiss on it.
Andrea: had to laugh, the look on his face priceless, mostly because she saw the truth in his expression even if he hadn't just admit his level of understatement toward the dress. "My clueless, boy," she chuckled as she shook her head. She stood up from the bed as he pulled the shirt off and her eyes locked on his while he moved the stray hair out of her face. "Are you feeling it too?" She asked, taking his hands and wrapping them around herself and guiding his fingers over the zippers and buttons needed to be opened and pulled for the removal of the dress. "It's so surreal, yet so right and fulfilling at the same time."
Grant watched her for a moment with a small smile on his face. "Definitely feeling it," he chuckled as he watched her unzip the dress. Sitting up from the bed, he managed to pull her over and helped her get the dress all the way off. "You're is way worse than mine," he chuckled as he put his hands around her waist and falling back onto the bed with a laugh. He leaned up and kissed her lips as his hands moved over her soft skin. "God I love you," he whispered pulling away for a moment as his nose brushed against hers.
Andrea: grinned as he was right, but she teased the topic regardless, just because. "It wasn't that bad. I mean.. we got it off, right?" She yelped softly as they fell back on the bed and when his hands moved over her exposed skin, she felt herself shying for the moment as this was their first moment as a married couple. They were completely and unconditionally each other's to love and to hold as they pleased and wished. Everything now had a new meaning. "And I love you," she smiled, looking into his eyes as her hand lifted to his face. "I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I feel sorry for anyone who tries to argue otherwise." She shook her head, her eyes scanning over his facial features, her nose brushing lightly against his. She loved this man and everything about him from his defined nose to his adorable freckles and his bright and contagious smile that lit up any room they were in.
Grant noticed her get shy and made a face. "You don't have to get all weird it's nothing new," he chuckled softly as he pushed hair away from her face. "You better love me," he said as he kissed her again. When he heard her speak, he shook his head in disbelief wondering how he got such an amazing girl. "You mean all of the internet because same," he laughed before finding her lips again. His thumbs brushed against her sides as he stared at her. His lips found their way to her neck and then her shoulder not wanting to rush anything if she didn't want to. "I'm the luckiest guy in the world," he mimicked her saying.
Andrea: smirked and rolled her eyes, "in the world, on the internet. Hey, in our galaxy if you will. You name it, I'm the luckiest." She laughed along with him even so softly as their lips moved in sync and her fingers delicately skimmed over his chest and down the length of his body until she reached his belt. "Stealing my lines, are we?" She chuckled lightly as she tilted her neck, giving him full access to her neck.
Grant "Mmhmm, okay. Tell the fangirls," he joked before letting out a sigh when her fingers skimmed over his chest. "Yes, yes I am," he laughed as he moved his hands to undo his belt and kicked off his pants. Once they fell off the bed, he managed to flip the two of them around so she was below him. Finding her neck again, he kissed on her pulse point while his hands moved to her legs. "You okay to do this?" he asked pulling away to look at her.
Andrea: playfully rolled her eyes once again. “I’m sure they’ll have themselves a thrill all over social media once they get word of today and their imaginations wander off,” she lowered her eyebrows, making a face up at him as he kicked his pants off. Once they were off the bed, she placed herself over him again only to be rolled onto her back. Her hands lifted to his hair where her fingers for lost in his styled hair. Her eyes fell closed again and she get his lips on her spot of weakness, something that he knew from experience. When he pulled away to look at her, she raised a hand to his cheek and smiled as she looked into his eyes. “Babe.. it’s nothing new,” she repeated his words, “It’s special because we’re now officially married but I’m not going to break nor are you a stranger to me.” She chuckled lightly, lightening the mood as she pulled him to her by cupped the back of his head and her lips connected with his.
Grant shook his head at what she said. "You are probably right on that one," he laughed. Realizing he hadn't looked at his phone all day, only made him dread wanting to turn it on. It wasn't until she pulled away that he chuckled when she repeated his words. "That's right, we're married now," he smirked before getting pulled into a kiss. While his lips were on hers, he managed to get his boxers off as well as her underwear. "God, we aren't leaving the room when we go on our honeymoon," he mumbled as his hands gripped her legs to open them a little. Something about this time felt different, like it was their first time all over again, but it wasn't. This was a new part of life and one where they didn't have to worry too much.
Andrea: made herself a promise long before they actually got married and that was that on their wedding day, she was not going to look at their phones. Their family and friends and everyone who mattered was in the same setting as them so there were no emergency’s at risk. She didn’t want to let the possible negativities to ruin their day. And she just knew that people would talk both positively and negatively as if it was their own life being changed. “Promise?” She asked playfully as she smiled then bit her lip following his actions of gripping her legs. This was their first time as a married couple and it meant a new level of love and adoration going into this act of love. It was their first time, in a certain aspect. They hadn’t done anything like this in a while, probably since a little after their trip to Malaysia and that was because time felt as if it had been flying ever since they returned. With immediate filming and promotional work, they mostly had time to work and plan the actual wedding. A new chapter was beginning and this was the first thing done as a married couple. Her fingers traveled over his back and to her lower back where they softly pushed against him as a signal that she was fine. Her lips moved in sync with his, the kiss growing deeper.
Grant “Promise,” he chuckled as he leaned down to kiss her. He sighed as he looked down at her. Feeling her fingers travel down his back, he sighed as he gently pushed into her. Kissing her deeper, he sighed and let out a small moan. “God, I love you,” He whispered as he kissed her neck.
Andrea: kissed her favorite person, her other half. Tenderness and love coaxed every kiss, no small peck going ignored. When he finally pushed into her, she let out a soft gasp, every moment feeling new and better. “I.. love you too,” she responded, lifting a hand to the back of his head and burying her fingers in his hair, her eyes falling closed again. “I love you so much,” she whispered.
Grant let out a sigh as his hand found her hair. "I love you too," he said as he kissed her and then her neck. "Are you okay?" he asked through breaths as he kept going. Feeling her fingers in his hair he let out a low groan and dropped his head on her shoulder. The rest of the night went by so fast; falling asleep in each others arms only made it better. They were finally married and now they could look forward toward their future. They had their life ahead of them and he couldn’t wait to see what the future holds.
