Built in 1943, this C-53 is an actual World War II veteran that participated in major operations across Europe, including dropping paratroopers into Normandy on D-Day. Flying under the civilian registration of N34DF, she is operated by Vintage Wings Inc. based in Franklin, Pennsylvania. She is seen here performing for the crowd at the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's World War II Weekend
