Jeff is much softer in moments like these.

he’s not really a words of affirmation guy, but it’s in every single action of his. 

Whatever you need to fall back asleep he’s doing it 

He has a playlist of videos of the nights you're too scared to go back to sleep, he keeps a collection of funny ones he finds on youtube with ben, he claims it’s just some shit he’s saved and it doesn’t matter, but it’s labeled with your name on it. 

he’s not a huge cuddler, it’s just never been his love language, but, he will hold your hand as you sleep 

Overall he’s a good carer, and you can maybe even sneak some pet names out of him. 

EJ 

Per my headcanons, Ej doesn’t sleep, but he will lay with you as you sleep. 

He will often wake you up if you're having a nightmare, he can sense it the minute your heart rate rises. 

Usually when he manages to catch it it’s in the perfect stage, he’ll wake you for two seconds and then you’ll fall directly back asleep. 

but assuming you have a pretty bad one, or he somehow misses waking you up, he’ll make sure to soothe you back to sleep best he can 

He’s very much an act of service guy, he’ll go get you some water and maybe a little snack. 

If you want to talk about the nightmare, he's a perfect person to do so. He rubs your back as you do so, and reminds you that you're safe. 

he’ll offer to read to you as well, from whatever book he usually is deep into, his voice is nice and soft, and it soothes you perfectly back to sleep. 

Masky 

He sleeps really fucking lightly, so if you’re stirring you’ll likely end up waking him before you wake yourself up.

however he has this at least 30 minute window where he’s kind of all instincts. Which is usually where you land. 

So, your gonna have a lot of times where he will get up check the house and come right back to lay beside you 

he’s not huge on psychical touch, but it’s one of those rare times he’ll hold your hand as you both drift off 

If you're still awake by the time his sleepiness fades, he’s happy to turn on some Disney movie to lull you both back to sleep, he’s partial to Cinderella. 

if it’s really chronic and starting to affect you a lot, he’ll offer you tips, he’s been there, the two of you can’t stay up together, chasing your respective demons away. 

Brian. 

-also a hugely light sleeper, but he can go from asleep to awake in seconds. Unlike Masky 

the minute he hears you crying his arms are around you kissing your nose. 

He is very big on affection when it comes to you in general, but when it comes to comfort it’s his go-to. 

If you want to talk about it, he's absolutely ready. He’ll nod along, making sure you know he’s engaged. 

He has a little playlist of country songs for y'all to listen to, and insists that it’s not the right soundtrack for bad shit to happen. 

He gives you a little stand in plushy for when he’s on mission, it’s a little brown bear with slightly curly fur in a mini version of one of his outfits. He even sprayed his cologne on the bear to make sure it smells like him. 

Toby

He’s a surprisingly heavy sleeper, *if* He can sleep. 

So you’re really gonna have to try and wake  him if you need him and he’s passed out. 

But if he’s having one of his usual nights where he's up, he’s immediately comforting you. 

He knows a surprising amount of breathing exercises, and will walk you through them, helping to get you calm in record time. 

Due to his tics, he often doesn't like to cuddle you to sleep, but he’ll get you some weighted blankets and such to help fill that void, and if you really need it, he’ll give in. 

His go too for comfort videos to help you fall back asleep is food network shows, he favors competition shows but he will also live with something simple if that’s too stimulating 

Habit 

As much as he likes to pretend that he's above nightmares, and in some ways he is. He does have faint memories of when he could experience that kind of fear. 

He’s kind of an asshole about it, he uses the night to get most of his *Hobbys* done. So you'll have to get out of bed to get him. 

And per any kinda comfort, it comes with hims teasing you, when you tell him what's been bothering you.

He’ll also fake being insulted that you don't think he can keep you safe.

He will however offer to watch you sleep. It's surprisingly comforting

Play your cards right and he might lay down and cuddle with you, but it's a heavy might.

Secretly in the back of his mind he worries that somehow, the Operator will get to you like it did him. And you’ll end up like him.
