Crazy Crest by Ciameth
This photo is more frequently stolen than any of my other photography or artwork.  I don’t know why; it is a charming photo but certainly not my best.  Most aren’t trying to pass it off as their own photo, but have uploaded it with zero source, credit, or link.  There have been a few try to claim it as their own, and one person even tried to pass it off as an original “oil painting” after smudging out the watermark and running it through one of those art program paint filters that are supposed to make a photograph look like a painting.
I spent today submitting copyright infringement notices to various websites after doing a routine reverse google image search on my more popular photos.  If anyone happens to see this image anywhere without credit, please let me know.  Just leaving the watermark isn’t enough (though I’m now going to have to start making bigger watermarks that include my url).  Also, when you reblog or repost images online, PLEASE check to see that they’re properly credited.  Don’t be complicit in passing along an image without giving the artist their due. Â
