cdteam having serious communication issues is everything to me, they all have their own issues they wont talk with the others because they dont want to burden them (not talking just makes everything worse)

new au or fic idea - dequavis somehow ends up on the dsmp and goes from being his kinda like public rival to like trying to get people to like him. like him coming to the realization that - oh no you guys actually hate this guy - and suddenly going from being his and dteam’s enemies to trying to help them be friends again. he acted like he wanted to replace dream and now that he has, has his friends and stuff, he can’t help but feel like something’s missing and something’s wrong. he isn’t supposed to be the one by sapnap’s side, dream is. and yet when he finally goes out to search for dream he finds out about the prison. naturally he goes there to investigate and pay his respects as well as feed his curiosity and when he sneaks into the obsidian box he finds, to his surprise, dream. except not like his dream who’s full of ambition and life and excitement, but a scarred and scary looking guy who looks and sounds the same and yet could not be more different. dequavis doesn’t let it stop his mission, instead he drags dream out to kinoko and forces dream to work things out - you all are supposed to be the dream team, as thick as thieves…. dequavis just having such a chipper and simp behavior just contrasting with the dsmp grim reality…
