this parallels a (spoiler!) canon couple in the series Eyewitness

Whenever I see people talking about the Mlvn kiss at the end of s3, I think of this scene from s1e4 of Diary of a Future President where Bobby asks his new girlfriend (the girl who was his crush for the first 4 episodes) to do what essentially amounts to "2 minutes in heaven" in the closet, and he realizes afterward (after coming out of the closet) that something felt wrong and he didn't feel anything kissing her
