hi guys, mod here. I know the ask box has been closed for months and I haven't done anything here in over a year, but I feel like I need to post this.
I was 14 when I first got into this fandom, and while it was great while it lasted, it quickly delve into something darker and grosser than I wanted. I've gotten weird and explicit asks here while I was still a minor, and while I'm not anymore, I still remember how it felt to freak out about it. The genuine disgust and fear when I would get a new ask and it was something gross.
I will never open this ask box again simply for that reason. From what I'm aware, this blog attracted a lot of kids - and with these messages being a thing, I dont think its safe for me to even consider posting here.
honest to god this fandom has failed in so many ways. right from the get go I was exposed to nasty content and even nastier people. the genuine cruelty and disgusting actions of people were present from day 1. It was just easier to look past it when I had a nice lil friend group.
if i were a kid now getting into this fandom, I dont think I would've stayed nearly as long as I did back then. people in this fandom are deplorable and dont even bother to hide their weird doll fucker victim fantasies behind a paywall anymore. (im looking loudly at a good group of you, you know who you are)
all in all, this blog is officially discontinued. This fandom has gone off the rails and while I've been on a huge hiatus from here for over a year, I think this was still a necessary ending.
Chucky fandom; do better.
