Today was a very big I love my job day. I just feel a lot like the role they’re having me help with now is a really really good fit/little niche and idk. It definitely helps bc it lets me hyperfixate on something I’m really interested in and I’m just really excited for more of it.
I keep tossing around the idea of changing my actual online handle, but also EVERYONE has known me as Bug for like 16 years so is that even a thing? It’s like my second name at this point lol
One of my personal goals for myself is to rewrite my the stories of Carim OCs as something more intertwined and complete. It’s something I’ve thought about from the beginning and still twist around in my brain along with the idea of adjusting things to be more original and less of a direct DS fanfic so it can be more of a standalone thing or whatnot. It’s kind of just something I hold really closely and it would be nice to have that for myself, and to get to go more in depth with how I write them. For some reason with fanfic specifically I feel like I sometimes put less effort into it than I do with my original writing or like. Idk “dumb it down” so it’s shorter/more easily digestible. But I think once I actually have genuine time to dedicate to it it’s something I’d like to undertake.
I guess I am going to San Francisco in December.

I’ve been trying to get out of my comfort zone lately by doing a quality build and not using a massive weapon for once lol. I don’t usually use curved swords even when I do use swords, so it’s been kind of fun tbh. I’ve been alternating between this and the flamberge for something different too. I kind of miss my hammers but I GUESS I’ll live.
Also I don’t often use the feminine armor sets but I wanted to try Dancer for a bit. Had also been mixing her veil with Sirris’ set which was kind of pretty. Not sure what I’ll eventually land on- in the past my fav combo was the Silver Mask (Leonhard’s mask) with the Drang chest piece (can’t remember the arm and legs I used with it rn).
ANYWAY!
My third grade teacher used to always say “don’t cry over spilled milk” and like, okay, I get the meaning. And while she was really sweet and trying to help kids not freak out about little things, I’ve always kind of hated that phrase bc 1) milk isn’t like water, where it’s not really a huge issue if you spill it. Milk has sugar and a bunch of other stuff in it which means I have to put extra effort into cleaning it up so it doesn’t make a surface sticky or attract insects, and 2) maybe I already had a really bad day that day and the milk spilling is the last overstimulating thing I can deal with. I’m gonna cry about it, it ends up being like involuntary.
Idk I almost spilled some milk going up stairs this morning and I just started thinking about it again lol
