Today was a very big I love my job day. I just feel a lot like the role theyāre having me help with now is a really really good fit/little niche and idk. It definitely helps bc it lets me hyperfixate on something Iām really interested in and Iām just really excited for more of it.
I keep tossing around the idea of changing my actual online handle, but also EVERYONE has known me as Bug for like 16 years so is that even a thing? Itās like my second name at this point lol
One of my personal goals for myself is to rewrite my the stories of Carim OCs as something more intertwined and complete. Itās something Iāve thought about from the beginning and still twist around in my brain along with the idea of adjusting things to be more original and less of a direct DS fanfic so it can be more of a standalone thing or whatnot. Itās kind of just something I hold really closely and it would be nice to have that for myself, and to get to go more in depth with how I write them. For some reason with fanfic specifically I feel like I sometimes put less effort into it than I do with my original writing or like. Idk ādumb it downā so itās shorter/more easily digestible. But I think once I actually have genuine time to dedicate to it itās something Iād like to undertake.
I guess I am going to San Francisco in December.

Iāve been trying to get out of my comfort zone lately by doing a quality build and not using a massive weapon for once lol. I donāt usually use curved swords even when I do use swords, so itās been kind of fun tbh. Iāve been alternating between this and the flamberge for something different too. I kind of miss my hammers but I GUESS Iāll live.
Also I donāt often use the feminine armor sets but I wanted to try Dancer for a bit. Had also been mixing her veil with Sirrisā set which was kind of pretty. Not sure what Iāll eventually land on- in the past my fav combo was the Silver Mask (Leonhardās mask) with the Drang chest piece (canāt remember the arm and legs I used with it rn).
ANYWAY!
My third grade teacher used to always say ādonāt cry over spilled milkā and like, okay, I get the meaning. And while she was really sweet and trying to help kids not freak out about little things, Iāve always kind of hated that phrase bc 1) milk isnāt like water, where itās not really a huge issue if you spill it. Milk has sugar and a bunch of other stuff in it which means I have to put extra effort into cleaning it up so it doesnāt make a surface sticky or attract insects, and 2) maybe I already had a really bad day that day and the milk spilling is the last overstimulating thing I can deal with. Iām gonna cry about it, it ends up being like involuntary.
Idk I almost spilled some milk going up stairs this morning and I just started thinking about it again lol
