when yolanda first starts sleeping with baran, it's different than it is with trinity, who is so easy. she takes whatever yolanda gives her, is so eager for it even when she's being bratty. yolanda can feel it buzzing in her, aching and wanting. she's such a fucking good girl. and yolanda feeds off it. it makes her so fucking wet.
it isn't that baran is difficult. she bends and she breaks with the right amount of pressure. but she's certainly harder, less bratty than she is forceful — like yolanda's commanding nature lights some twin flame in her. two orbiting, sparking celestial bodies.
when they're not playing that game with each other, pushing and pulling until baran cracks or yolanda gives, baran is so deliciously communicative. so decisive. it made yolanda's head spin and her clit throb the first time she said no to her and meant it.
baran was riding her, grinding her hips into yolanda's, the strap buried down to the hilt. and yolanda's hips were twitching, thrusting faintly up. she needed to drive that strap hard and fast into baran until she came the way she needed air to breathe.
"turn over," yolanda breathed, squeezing baran's thighs, and baran whined, eyes fluttering open.
"no," baran gasped, pressing her hands into yolanda's ribs to steady herself. "fuck. feels so good."
trinity would have done it without question, would have laid herself down and bit her lip as she closed her legs and let yolanda force them open like she wasn't one kiss away from coming. the thought isn't meant unkindly toward baran, nor is it some desire for trinity. it just is.
"up a little," yolanda says instead, pulling up at baran's hips. to this, she acquiesces, rising just enough on her knees for yolanda to slam the strap up into her, over and over again. communication. compromise. yolanda isn't used to it. baran comes less than three minutes later.
the next time baran says no, it unexpectedly makes yolanda feel a little sick. yolanda's wearing the strap again, and baran's on her back, her hands squeezing, caressing, scraping. baran is such a physical person. she loves to touch yolanda. it helps her feel grounded and close to her. to yolanda, sometimes it can feel suffocating, distracting.
and right now she's sweaty. baran is beautiful below her, but her arms are starting to hurt, and baran is taking a long time tonight (which is not a problem at all, but it's late and yolanda has an early surgery), and she can't stop thinking about lighting her new candle while she takes a shower later. and baran's hands are just fucking everywhere.
in a fitful impulse, yolanda grabs baran's wrists and pins them above her head, driving deep into her. baran moans sharply, but her eyes open, no longer half-lidded.
"yolanda, no," baran gasps, the hazy, blissed out tone gone from her voice from when she was calling yolanda baby over and over a minute ago. she stops, and baran pulls her wrists free and eases yolanda out of her. "you can't do that without talking to me first."
both breathless, yolanda sits back. trinity would have let her. she let yolanda do almost anything she wanted. baran set much firmer boundaries. not to say baran's boundaries are an issue. they absolutely are not. it was just not something she'd had to discuss with previous partners.
"i wasn't thinking," she sighs, which is not quite taking responsibility and not quite the truth. baran sits up.
"yes, you were. talk to me."
reluctantly, yolanda tells her what was going through her mind because baran is persistent and loving and doesn't let anything go. this is an incredibly recent development for yolanda, this sort of in-the-moment vulnerability. baran is a horrible influence.
"i wish you would have just said so." she runs a hand up and down yolanda's arm. "yola, baby, let's just take a shower. neither of us are fully in it tonight. come on. we can light that candle, and i can wash your hair."
so they do. and in the shower, when baran's firm fingers are swirling around yolanda's scalp, she thinks of trinity. yolanda thinks how she would always just fuck the uncomfortable feelings out of herself. she thinks how trinity rarely set any boundaries and how she never did so in the moment. nausea tugs at her. she and trinity never really talked after they stopped fucking. not about their time together. not about anything. for the first time, guilt, too, tugs at her.
"baran..." she pauses her hands in yolanda's hair.
"yes, sweetheart?"
and yolanda tells her something else vulnerable. something she doesn't know quite what to do with or how to feel about. a fear about her time with trinity. an aching, terrible feeling.
