—this is my submission for @frillsand 's art contest ! BWAH, i had lots of fun making this one, i went for Clown's style, which i had not tried to replicate in a LONG time, honestly i think i got it pretty well! Though of course, my shading could always use some work, haha!

ahh, actor rainy my beloved, how i missed them!

i'll talk a bit about them, since it's been a while and a more in depth refresher i think would be nice!

—Rainy Dewdrop is a late-night talk show host!

Rainy is one of the first few puppets to have their own dedicated show! Though, speculation runs rampant, as many do not know how they even came to be in the first place, it almost felt like the show had appeared out of thin air! Though... Rainy is seen having close connections to a certain Miss Piggy... One has to wonder if she had lent a helping hand at all... Who knows, she can be very intimidating persuasive!

Although Rainy’s show is lighthearted and is often silly, they do consistently cover the topic of puppets and the issues they face in the entertainment industry— or well all work industries actually. Rainy works to change these issues and bring light to the specific hardships their peers face, as well as themselves.

“We may be soft and fuzzy, but that doesn’t mean you can treat us like toys.”

woo! okay i finally scrapped up and did it! This is Rainy in the Actor au! [ au belongs to @frillsand btw! ]

Rainy is a late-night talk show host! He's one of the few puppets to host such a thing! His show was limited to nighttime due to the very few timeslots the higher ups gave him, he took what he could get though!

(it was night or either the ungodly hours of the morning...)

He invites other puppets and is usually very lighthearted, usual talk show shenanigans! However! He does often bring light to how badly puppets have it when it comes to jobs, lack of protection laws, and how hard existence is for them in general.

b) i really like clowns

so put these two things together and what do you get?

you get clown rainy of course!!! look at him go!!!

I should probably explain what's going on, so i will! I had made clown rainy... and then sort of made an au centered around that idea, not that i really think of it as any proper au, since it's mostly for oc's and such! with that out of the way i will explain his acts! yippee!

he is a dreamer! a wanderer of the stars, if you will! He does tightrope and trapeze! At least, that's what i think fits him best!

his stage name is the Sleepwalker! very sleepy, very tired, you get the gist! they call him that because he's often mistaken for having his eyes closed on the tightrope, so they think he's "sleepwalking"!

his solo shows are mostly calmer segments, im not sure how to describe it really. usually he has a microphone attached to him, so he may talk to the audience! however, he's usually talking to himself really, but thats what they come for!

Rainy's ramblings are sort of hopeless romantic, but some of the things he says can be comedic as well, it depends really...

when one is valuable, one is subject to unwanted attention.

to put it simply, he's not allowed to go out alone anymore after that incident.
