You know that some years on Thanksgiving they make a parade with giant balloons of childhood characters?
There's even Eruptor from Skylanders which was also done in Crash Bandicoot 4 and there's no need to say that hyped me!
Because of that I came up with making a parade in Skylands as celebration day for the heroism of that squad including the Portalmaster players, I've also made a place full of tables for a reception where there was a stage for tribute speeches and I put Sharpfin saying something similar to a line I hear from Superchargers.
What do you think?
I know Peayce is good friends with Hugo, but how does she get along with the other NPCs (Cali, Flynn, Tessa, Mags, etc.)?
Oooh! Good question!
Peayce has many interesting relationships with the various characters among Skylands, so I hope you’re ready for a hefty answer!
Captain Flynn
Flynn treats Peayce like any other new person he encounters: with a ridiculous amount of pride, charm, and Flynn-branded friendliness.
Peayce, who remembers Flynn quite well from when she was younger, takes great comfort in seeing that he hasn’t changed a bit. She’s happy to let him ‘lead the way’ whenever they adventure together, though honestly, the one doing most of the leading is her.
Fun Fact: Peayce is also quite the cook, and loves making dishes like enchiladas and chili, which pretty much puts her on Flynn’s ‘friend’ list automatically.
Cali
Before Cali became affiliated with the Skylanders, she was an independent explorer who took great joy in seeking out the many wondrous things Skylands had to offer. Peayce, on the other hand, is from Earth, and only knows so much about the Skylands and the things that exist there.
I think they’d get along swimmingly, Cali being happy to teach Peayce areas and people of Skylands that the woman has never heard of, and Peayce being happy to learn them and have someone willing to teach her.
Tessa
I believe Tessa would be really excited to see a real Light Portal Master in the flesh. Peayce may be a bit intimidated by all of Tessa’s energy at first, but the two would also become good friends very quickly.
The biggest things they’d talk about is their love for nature and the personal pressures of being a leader (Tessa being a chieftess and Peayce being a Portal Master), but they would also find common ground in the smaller things, like loving Whiskers and taking things as they come.
When a situation arises where Peayce makes a questionable call (like advocating Kaos to stay at the Academy after he “becomes good”), I think Tessa would probably be one of the first to take Peayce’s side. Mutual understanding and kindness is something they both have and it can do great things when the two work together!
Sharpfin
Peayce would be delighted to know someone like Sharpfin. He’s more of a grey area turned good guy, being a crime boss and all, which Peayce is all for. She may be a Light Portal Master, but the woman feels a great deal of pressure to be the shining example of what good should look like. Being around people like Sharpfin, the Portal Master feels less of that pressure and, as a result, can be more like her full (sometimes mischievous) self.
Sharpfin probably wouldn’t be as enthusiastic at first, believing the Portal Master to be 100% lawful goody-goody type, but the more time they get to spend together the more he realizes Peayce is not only NOT a total wet paper towel, she also owns a surprisingly good criminal mind.
I can see the two of them being a “rich uncle and his very sweet (scary) adoptive niece who commit crimes sometimes” type of duo.
Buzz
Buzz is a hardened commander, someone who has trained and led fighters like the Skylanders with a loud voice and tough attitude. Peayce is not like that. …at all… in any capacity.
When she summons a Skylander to do a job, she always politely asks them if they are in the mood to carry out their duty, instead of trying to order.
When she comes up against an aggressive enemy, her instinct is to de-escalate the situation instead of fight, and when she can’t do that, she tries to end the fight in the most non-violent way possible.
She cries herself to sleep in private after having to defeat villains like Kaos, because she sees it as a failure to give them a proper second chance. (Even though Kaos, specifically, has had FAR more chances than that.)
Buzz is convinced Peayce is too soft to be a proper Portal Master. Any chance he gets, he tries to train her into being a better leader. Unfortunately, he usually does this by putting her through near-impossible physical trials and combat scenarios while aggressively shouting at her from the sidelines. Peayce, who wants to be a good Portal Master (and also fears she’s too soft to be an adequate leader) does her best to bring her A-game to Buzz’s training sessions. Unfortunately, she still sucks at them.
As much as Buzz disapproves of her techniques, he does have to admit Peayce has an astounding amount of heart, as well as guts, which he can respect. However, he’s never actually told Peayce that, so the woman is always scrambling to earn what she already has.
Mags
Mags is clinically insane. Peayce is clinically depressed.
They are absolute besties.
Glumshanks
Peayce and Glumshanks are both cursed with the irreversible burden of caring very deeply about (arguably) the worst person in all of Skylands.
Being more passive personalities who are tasked with taking care of someone who doesn’t always appreciate the sacrifices they make for them (Peayce with her younger sister Joi, and Glumshanks with Kaos), the two find they have a lot in common. It also helps that I’m planning on Joi and Glumshanks being a duo for a while, where Glumshanks will come to care about Joi in a similar way that Peayce will come to care about Kaos.
There are others I could mention, but I think I’m gonna stop here for now.

Okay Okay I've been reblogging some heavy stuff I wouldn't normally because it's all stuff I care about and I feel is important now. And asks have been piling up in my inbox I'm sorry.
But would anyone want in on my conspiracy that Sheep Creep is in the same boat as Pain-yatta and Hood sickle? That being that he's not actually evil, but was in fact framed as such by Buzz and possibly even Hugo?
I mean, his "Redemption" mission is literally to finish the rebellion he started against the buffalo invading his herd's homeland. This implies there was nothing wrong with his rebellion in the first place and that Buzz played a part in Sheep Creep's false incarceration. Sheep Creep whipping out his cork guns as the first boss was most likely him trying to defend himself while declaring he wasn't about to be falsely imprisoned again.
I actually don't have proof for Hugo's involvement... But given his history with sheep I have my suspicions...
Anyway Sheep Creep is a funny lil guy. As a "first boss" for introducing the trapping gimmick he's pretty silly, and he's unironically my pick for a second quick-shot villain if there were two reformed villain senseis per element and battle class in Imaginators.
Buzz and Thrillipede are boyfriends/husbands and you can pry this out of my cold dead hands
My take on why Buzz doesn't know Flynn is his son
From Trap Team, we know that Flynn has a good impression on his father, and judging by how he uses uncertain language like "I guess" or "some kind of pilot", it seems like he hasn't really learned much about Buzz, though it's mostly positive. This tells me that Flynn's mom or any of his relatives remembered Buzz fondly in some way. So, this rules out any abusive or malicious reasons for Buzz leaving, or at least obvious ones. So whatever happened, Buzz didn't leave a bad impression on Flynn's family.
The reason for Buzz's absence from Flynn's life could be something Buzz at least planned to do. So with that in mind, here's what I think:
