Something I've always found rare and unique between Taylor and swifties, is the mutual respect. Majority of swifites, just want Taylor to be happy and safe, they understand that she's a human being who makes mistakes too, they defend her like family, they laugh and join in on her silly moments. Swifites really care about her art and who it belongs to and we care about what message Taylor wants to share with the world. But it goes both ways, most artists see fans as a money making force and as what defines there success. But Taylor understands each fan has a story, she understands that her music means alot to different people around the world. She really wants to give us the best experiences, show up for us and always goes above and beyond and then almost crosses the line between the Artist and the consumers/fans.
I don't really wanna compare fandoms, but I've followed a few artists/ fandoms and those few who really care about the art (not the glory)you can see how much it means that other people in the world love and understand it..but there are those 'Artists' who really take advantage of their consumers and use them and treat them bad, such as spitting or turning up late or putting half assed shows on. Taylor has always showed up, even when sick, even when the weathers rubbish, gave the best she can give. Always working hard, Trying to keep connected to fans. She has never once 'used' fans. I feel sometimes celebs become ego maniacs and don't actually care about the faces in the audience at their concerts, they don't care about the kids in the street that ask for an autograph or picture cause it's just another fan. Taylor has always given me the vibe that she will always take time for fans so long as they don't go too far or make it weird.
Wow I've gone on with this longer than I wanted too but I'm not very good at articulating myself so. Yeah welcome to my ted talk why the swifites are the best.
