These Lemon Herb Butter Scallops are a delightful combination of tender scallops cooked to perfection with aromatic herbs and zesty lemon. They make for an elegant and flavorful seafood dish that's quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients: 12 large scallops. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme. 1 tablespoon lemon zest. Salt and black pepper to taste. Lemon wedges for serving.
Instructions: Use paper towels to dry the scallops, then season them with salt and black pepper. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Put minced garlic in the pan and cook for one minute, until the garlic smells good. Sear the scallops for two to three minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Cut up some parsley, thyme, and lemon zest and sprinkle them on top of the scallops while they grill. Take the scallops out of the pan and serve them right away with lemon wedges.
