Lunch update - Homemade pasta in butternut squash mango sauce, kiwis and steamed carrot. BabyN is getting good at picking small foods. This pasta was cake walk for her😄. This was kind of my take on varanphal or dal dhokli.Addition of mango to the sauce neutralized the sweetness from squash. Ingredients for sauce: 1/2 cup boiled butternut squash puree 2 tbsp tangy mango puree 1 tsp coriander powder (optional) 1 tsp garlic powder ground black pepper as per taste Directions: 1) Mix all the ingredients together in a pan with some water. 2) Add cooked pasta in the sauce. 3) Serve when cooled down. Breakfast update - Our meal was as simple as it looks. BabyN had ragi ladoo and some banana. Ragi was the first food she had when she was 6 months old and till now she has never stopped liking it. Ingredients for ragi ladoo: 1/4 cup ragi flour 2 tbsp ghee/butter 1 tsp almond powder 1/2 cup water 1/2 banana (optional) pinch of cardamom powder Directions: 1) Add ghee in a pan and roast ragi flour on low flame till it releases a toasted aroma. 2) Add water,cardamom and almond powder over roasted flour.
