Taking a little (bus) trip down memory lane today.
When I winnowed my library a few years ago, I gave most of my culled books to friends. One of said friends found my old bus ticket in a Janet Evanovich novel, where it had been loyally marking my place for two decades.
I love this little snapshot of me from 20 years ago - when I left for work (early), when I finished work (mostly not too late), that I had a Friday and Monday off - why? I don't know! Was I sick? Was I using banked time? Did I have appointments? All I can say for sure is that whatever I did that long weekend I didn't take the bus.
I just think it's neat :)
