“No Yang, you’re not,” she replied with a shaky, nervous voice, but resolute none-the-less. “It’s... it’s a long story but I’m really here, I’m alive.” She wanted to reach out, take Yang into her arms and just hug her tight but she wasn’t sure if trying was the best idea. She had no idea how Yang would take it and this was awkward enough already.

“I’ve had a lot of practice Sunflower,” she chuckled, looping her arm through Yang’s. “But, you know... since I’m home now, we’ve got plenty of time to make cookies, or whatever else you want. Plus, you’re older now so I can actually show you how I do it.” Giving Yang a bright smile, she started to rather energetically coax Yang towards the kitchen. “Come on, I think now might be as good a time as any! This house could use the smell of fresh baked cookies in it.”

To say Ren was unconvinced would be an understatement. “I know you can protect yourself, Yang,  but it sounds pretty dangerous to me.” He looked at her. “You should at least take one of us with you.” The choice was Yang’s, of course, but he really believed that there was safety in numbers-regardless of how skilled you were at protecting yourself.

“I- I don’t know, sis. It’s so weird, we didn’t know her for long, but - it feels like Pyrrha was always there... and now...”

Taking the box and opening it, Summer looks at the gift and it’s clear she’s trying so very hard not to cry. Immediately she takes it out and puts it on then wraps Yang in a hug. “Thank you Sunflower!” As she hugs her, the tears that threatened started to fall as she’s beyond happy to be able to finally just be here with her daughter again... today and every other.

Weiss stood up slowly and dusted off her dress. She looked over to Yang and smiled a bit. “I’m fine. The bigger question is are you okay?” Looking over to the ice wall she put up she lightly bit her lip. Shifting her gaze back to the other she tightened her grip on her weapon. Spinning the chamber she took a few steps back.

Ren gasped as he was hit in the back of the head by a snowball, and glanced over his shoulder to see Yang there. Somehow, he wasn’t surprised that she was the one who had hit him with a snowball. He looked at her, then he bent down and started to form one of his own. “Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it, Yang.” He called out to her as he stood up with a decently sized snowball in his hand. Then he tossed it.

“Yang, we’re at a higher altitude. The air is thinner up in Atlas, you can’t do that anymore unless you want to faint.”
