Netflix's The Last Airbender adaptation is objectively fucking bad. There's something off about the script, the editing, the overall vibe. It just doesn't feel impactful. AGAIN, all the effort was put into making it look pretty and was stripped of all the heart that made the last airbender fun! The acting is fine but for me the main problem is the FUCKING DIALOG/SCRIPT. It felt like I was watching a mediocre fan flick and I couldn't help but cringe and wonder when is it going to get good. 😬 Just watch the cartoon.
And don't get me started on that fucking new show nickelodeon decided to shit out. The network continously did avatar and korra so fucking dirty, underpaying their animators and restricting the show's accessibility when airing new episodes. I have no faith the new show will have any semblance of the avatar universe and to the network, that's the point.
