I've gotten so used to the small amount of stats that my initial reaction now is to... well... not care.

If anything I expect it now because it's not like the fics I write for them is typically what most people would go for. Shoot, the ship itself is not the first ship a lot of people think about.

It's a rare pair of two women, so that's 2 strikes right there, in which people most of the time acknowledge to talk about how hot they are and/or involve them somehow when it comes to the male characters. One of which is of the darker complexion.

So of course people wouldn't particularly take to reading fluffy or even the opposite fics for a Sapphic rarepair of known, but not as popular female characters.

There has only been 3 fics that have passed 50 kudos and the highest number has been 80 kudos. And they weren't even the main ship!

So, yeah, my initial reaction now has been "hm, expected, anyways". Sad, I will admit that, but I also think it's good in a way to not care anymore because even though I would like for more comments and whatnot, it's like not caring anymore makes me feel more free to write whatever and not feel the need to hold myself back because "what if they don't read it"?
