You ever think about how Majima heard about Shimano’s plan for Haruka and decided to kidnap her instead so she’d be in safe(r) hands, and he sees how tough she is and thinks back to the shit he had to go through as a kid and hates to see someone so young suffer through so much she can’t control?
It’s hard to tell what surprises the kid more: that Majima is wanting to talk to her, or that he’s carrying a brand-new pink Bun-chan. He sees the wheels turning in her small head. It must be a trick, she’s probably thinking. He can’t blame her. “This is fer you, Haruka-chan.”
Haruka holds her head high, says that she doesn’t need something silly like a toy. Her brow furrows and he sighs, recognizing the familiar glare of a certain Dragon. Like a fuckin’ clone. Majima, even more gently, insists that she take it. She tries to stare him down. “Look, we don’t gotta be friends, kid, but you should take this. Yer too young t’ be actin’ so tough like nothin’ can get to ya. Believe me, I know.” Her fists unclench at her sides. He continues. “It’s okay t’ be brave—“ he places Bun-chan in her hands—“and it’s okay t’ be scared, too.” She carefully accepts the gift. He nods. “So hang on to this little guy, yeah?” Her chin quivers and she hugs Bun-chan tightly. “Thank you, Majima-san.”
hahahaha old eve thing ahahaha
'Bun-chan'
Some Yakuza 0 fan art, I don't know how to feel about the outcome this one, but it was fun, and if I hadn't stopped, it never would have been finished.
Crochet bun-chan from yakuza, birthday gift for @xanowa

A dark room…
been learning needlefelting 🪡 i made a removable hat bun-chan 🐦
Bun-chan the Java Sparrow (Pirate Edition)
We all know and love Bun-Chan! A rotund and chunky bird collectible that can be found throughout the series, trapped within the crane machine games.
With three colour options: Blue, Pink and Orange and two variations of size regular and Jumbo.
However, Like a Dragon: Pirates in Hawaii added a fresh new twist...
and SEGA much like with the original Bun-Chans decided to bring them to life as prizes for their Crane Machines.
The Pink and Orange versions have these classic pirate crew outfits and a little scar on their cheek. Naturally any ship needs a Captain and that comes in the form of our Blue Bun.
I adore the designs but as with alot of merchandise the actual product will nearly always differ from expectation.
Of the two designs that I purchased, I am definitely happiest with Captain Bun-Chan. When browsing through listings to hand pick my particular plush it became apparent to me that the crew mate "buns" had a few more issues than their counterpart.
I assume due to the individual stitching, but alot of the plush mascots looked skewed, with misplaced proportions, puffs of fabric not sitting correctly under the beak, etc.
I was aware of the little beak tilt but thought it added character so that was not a problem for me. It wasn't until writing this as a draft that I noticed a more substantial flaw.
This is targeted at the crew mate variation in specific; But it is not correctly proportioned at all !?
With a much larger head and far less of a rotund chubby body, I know a small part of this is due to how the plush is stored, stuffed away in a clear bag but even after some manhandling and adjusting he is significantly more lean than he should be and I think this is what had made him look a little "odd".
And lastly, the only real difference between SEGA's original Buns and the Pirate Buns seems to be the eyes. They have opted to remove the dot of white that the first mascots had and instead use plain black beads that can provide their own reflections.
Regardless of how rant-y this post may have come across, I still adore these lil' guys and I now own one Bun-Chan of each of the colour variations.
