05/11/21 - The Dalles, OR - MAILBOX OF THE YEAR - We’ve Airstreamed and biked all over the U.S. and Canada since 2013 with much of that being on the backroads where we get to see lots of unique stuff like this mailbox which demanded that I get off the bike and get this pic. Glad to oblige. We love building memories.

Although they can say that I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, the real treasure I earned from my parents was moral values, etiquette and good manners. Actually, for me the true meaning of being born with a silver spoon in mouth has nothing to do with money or social status, but with posture, good manners and moral values. I was taught to treat everyone equally, regardless of skin colour, social status, gender or appearance, values that have been passed on to my daughters. . Rather than expensive gifts (not to say that I don't give them either), I prefer to build good family memories. Building good memories does not need to cost anything, just being together. . “With every word we utter, with every action we take, we know our kids are watching us. We as parents are their most important role models." and I couldn't agree more with this quote from @michelleobama. . . 🇵🇹Uma família é o reflexo do que fazemos.
