Slowly but surely getting to these. Â This one is:Â Having to put up holiday decorations together after a big fight
~~~
As Randy reaches behind him into the box of Christmasdecorations, he feels his hand brush up against another. Â He jerks his hand away immediately and whipshis head around, glaring at the offensive hand. âYou know, weâve got about six other goddamn boxes of decorations thatyou could be digging through right now, and you just have to go and stick your hand into this one?â he snaps.
John narrows his eyes as he looks at Randy. Â âPretty sure you also have six other boxes topick from.â
âExcept I was doing this one first, so just fucking leave meto my box and my corner of the room, ok?â Randy all but growls. Â Normally, he loves putting up thedecorations. Â And he normally loves goadingJohn into decorating with him. Â
But this isnât normally.
They have their spats, but this past fight far surpassesanything in recent memory. Â This is thelast thing either of them want to do at the moment, but they already set theday aside to decorate, because the next time theyâll be home, theyâll only havetwo days to enjoy all their hard work. Â
âFine,â John gives in. âFine. Â Iâll go do the other sideof the room.â
âThatâs all I fucking asked for to begin with.â
John is beyond frustrated with Randy. Â The fight happened two days ago and he canbarely remember what he said to earn Randyâs ire. Â Randyâs done plenty of things to piss himoff, but itâs not usually the other way around. Usually Randyâs the one asking for forgiveness at the end of the day. Â Johnâs not used to the silent treatment fromRandy of all people.
After another fifteen minutes of attempting to decorate, andfailing miserably because this is Randyâs department, not his, John has to givein. Â âLook, Iâm sorry.â
âWhat was that?â Randy asks.
âI said I was sorry. I donât even remember what the hell I did, but Iâm sorry I pissed youoff. Â Ok? Iâm sorry,â he repeats.
Randy finally turns his head and looks at John, noddingappreciatively. Â âApology accepted.â Â He then looks behind John and sees the messheâs made of the garlands. Â With a sigh,he stands up and heads to Johnâs side of the room. Â âNow, do you need some help here?â
âOh my god yes,â John says in a rush, because the room lookslike crap behind him. Â
âWhat would you ever do without me?â Randy asks.
âProbably not decorate for Christmas?â
âHeathen,â Randy mutters.
âMaybe Iâd have a little tree, like the one you like to keeparound.â
âAre you even human?â
âSome fans like to think Iâm not,â John replies.
âFair point,â Randy says. He presses a quick kiss to Johnâs lips, then says, âNow letâs get thisfixed up and then you can help me with the box Iâm working on.â
âEven though there are six other goddamn boxes?â
âYeah, even though there are six other goddamn boxes,â heanswers, smiling.
the âi should not be this attracted to the new internâ au. Roman/Bourne
Ok, this was a... very different pairing, haha. Â I hope you enjoy
~~~
Evan is fresh out of surgery, neutering a Great Dane puppy. He washes up, removes his scrubs, and heads out to the front of his office building to talk to the puppyâs owner about proper care after the surgery. Itâs shortly after that that the most beautiful human specimen alive walks through the front door. Heâs tall and tan and looks so young. Heâs about to start talking to the man sitting at the front desk when Evan butts in. âHello there, Iâm Dr. Bourne. Is there anything I can help you with today, Sir?â
Kofi, Evanâs business partner, glances up and gives Evan a rather confused raised eyebrow. Evan just darts his eyes back up to the perfect human being as his only explanation. Kofi then shakes his head and goes back to entering some clientâs information into the computer.
 âActually, Iâm the new intern. We did the phone interview last week and you called me back Friday saying to come in today to start.â
 Evanâs eyes go wide, though he hopes his shock doesnât show too much behind his glasses. âYouâre the new intern?â
 âYes?â
 âWell then. Welcome.â Evan extends his hand and says, âIâm Dr. Evan Bourne.â
 âRoman Reigns,â he says as he takes the hand offered to him.
 âOk, follow me and I can give you a quick tour of the office,â Evan says.  He can practically feel Kofi rolling his eyes at him from his seat behind the desk.
 Itâs later that evening, once Romanâs gone home and theyâre closing up for the night that Kofi breaks his silence. âDo you really have the hots for the new intern?â
 âWhat? No,â Evan denies far too quickly for it to be the truth.
 âIâve never noticed you so willing to give our new hires tours of the place. Especially with your hand on their lower back the entire time.â
 âI didnâtâ it wasnâtââ
 Kofi raises an eyebrow at him and says, âYou did and it was. You have the hots for the new intern.â
 âI canât help it!â
 âYou know youâve got about ten years on him?â
 âAnd I know I shouldnât be this attracted to him, but did you see the guy? Heâs beautiful. Even you have to admit that.â
 Kofi shrugs and then nods. âYeah, ok, I can see how youâd be attracted to him. But heâs probably got someone already. Someone he maybe just went to college with. Because he just graduated college.â
 âYou donât need to keep reminding me,â Evan says, groaning, leaning against the wall next to Kofiâs desk.Â
 âI feel like I do need to remind you, though.â
 âItâs not like Iâm gonna act upon the attraction. Iâll just admire from afar.â
 âHeâs going to be shadowing you all day, every day. I donât think thereâs anything afar about that.â Kofi finally gets his jacket on and grabs his leftovers from the lunch he ordered out.Â
 âIt was a metaphor,â Evan mutters.
 ~~~
 It turns out that working with Roman while admiring from afar is really a lot more difficult than Evan ever imagined. Romanâs always behind him or next to him, and he likes to ask a lot of questions. And thatâs a good thing, itâs great that Roman wants to learn all that he can. But his voice is so smooth and itâs always right next to Evanâs ear and he wants to hear that voice right in his ear while theyâre lying in a bed with far less clothes on. And those arenât the kinds of thoughts he should be having while heâs trying to work. He does his best to stay focused, to answer all the questions Roman has, to show him how he works. But damn, itâs a tough few weeks, with Kofi shooting Evan looks during their lunch break when he sees them sitting too close together.
 The real shocker, though, is that itâs one evening, Romanâs second to last day of his internship, just before they close shop for the night, while Evanâs off in the bathroom, that Roman casually asks Kofi if Evan is single.Â
 âWhatâd you just ask me?â Kofi feels like he heard things incorrectly.Â
 âWhat? Itâs a legitimate question.â
 âWhy do you want to know?â
 But Evan gets back before the conversation can go any further. âWhat to know what?â
 âNothing,â Kofi answers. âJust⌠you two figure this one out. Iâm heading home.â
 They watch as Kofi leaves and then itâs just Roman and Evan. âWhat was that about?â Evan asks.
 âWell⌠I, uh, I just asked him if you were seeing anyone,â Roman tells him after several long moments of silence.
 Evan looks over at Roman with his wide eyes again. âWhy do you ask?â
 âLook, itâs probably stupid. I realize that Iâm a lot younger than you and that I donât have much in the way of a career right now, but I just thought that now that we wonât be working together in a couple days Iâd ask.â
 âAsk if Iâm single?â
 âAsk if you maybe wanted to have dinner, or something. Whatever. Itâs stupid. Just forget that I ever asked, ok?â
 âI am,â Evan blurts out. âI mean, single. Iâm single. And, uh, Iâm ok with dinner.â
 Roman smiles and it just brightens up his whole face, the whole room. His smile makes him look even younger, even more handsome than he usually is. âOk. Ok, dinner sounds good.â He laughs a little now, and itâs slightly awkward because he really doesnât know how to react now that Evanâs said yes to him.Â
 âDid you wanna go now?â Evan asks. âI havenât eaten dinner yet, have you?â
 âNo. I mean, no I havenât eaten, not no I donât wanna go now. Because nowâs good.âÂ
 Evan smiles now and zips up his coat. âOk. Come on, I know a great little place up the road. We can walk there from here.â
 Neither of them say anything as they head out the door, just smile, and sometimes bump into each otherâs arms as they walk.
Okay sorry,I should have placed this on the other but if I'm allowed to request another. I'd like 7. Game night centon. I am in love with your writing by the way!!
Of course you can do more than one, I love these things. Â Thank you! Â :D
A/N: Obviously, this can be read as a stand alone ficlet, but in my mind, these are the same guys I started writing fics about back in â08. Â These are the same John and Randy I created back then, whoâve been married for 6 years and have been living in MA since then. Â Also, I donât actually think anywhere that far south of me really even got hit by this pre-Thanksgiving snow storm, much less lost power BUT Iâm taking some creative license in that it happened in NH, therefore it happened to them in MA, dammit
~~~
Both John and Randy are happy to be home in time for Thanksgiving. Their flight arrives in Boston Wednesday morning and theyâre home by that afternoon, after stopping to pick up some last minute things theyâll need for their Thanksgiving dinner the next night.
The day goes on as it otherwise normally would, with John starting a load of laundry and Randy settling in to catch up on his DVR while John bitches at him about the fact that heâs not actually helping. Randy just waves him off and makes a comment about how theyâre supposed to get some snow that night.
They think nothing of it, both used to snow, even though it is a little early to be getting snowed on.Â
Itâs not until about seven that night when they both wish theyâd been a little more prepared for the snow. Sure, they have shovels and a snowblower, but they still donât have their generator set up. âOh, youâve got to be shitting me,â John says, and Randy sighs, taking out his phone and turning on the light so he can see.Â
âWell, this is unexpected,â Randy says, turning the light towards John, who flinches away at the brightness.Â
âLetâs go get some candles.â
âYou go get the candles, Iâll get Uno.â
John gives Randy an evil eye, but Randyâs already turned his phone in the other direction, so he canât even see him. âCan you at least take the milk out of the fridge and stick it outside?â he asks, wondering just how long theyâre going to have to postpone their Thanksgiving.
âYou got it.â Randy brings the milk and a few other things from their fridge outside, setting everything on a heap of snow, then he helps John set up and light all the candles, giving them a pretty decent amount of light. Once thatâs set, they both settle down at the kitchen table and Randy shuffles up the Uno cards. âReady to lose?â he asks.
Randy hands out the cards and the game begins. Itâs civil enough for the first three minutes, or so. And then John puts down his draw four card and Randy goes off. He claims that Johnâs cheating, calls him a bastard, amongst other things, grumbling as he picks up his four cards.Â
John sets down his next card, a blue skip, then a reverse, then finally a blue seven, and then watches as Randy picks up card after card, unable to play. âOh, whatâs the problem, Randy? No blue cards in your hand? I mean, itâs a lot of cards to look at, why donât you double check, maybe you missed one hiding behind another card.â
Randy flips him off, finally picking up a card to play with, a red seven. âYouâre a dickface.â
âAww, is someone said that theyâre losing? Gonna cwy?â John teases, loving how easy it is to get Randy riled up.
âFuck off,â Randy growls.Â
âSorry, babe,â John says, placing down another sequence of cards, skips, reverses, draw two, leading to Randy holding a solid twenty cards in his hand, while John only has three left.Â
When John gets down to one card, however, Randy lets a little time elapse before pointing at John, yelling, âYou didnât say uno! You have to say uno! Now you get to pick up four cards.â
âWhat? Thatâs not a rule.â
âIt is! How about you check the rule book, then you can suck my dick, loser,â Randy says, grabbing his crotch through his flannel pajama bottoms.Â
John rolls his eyes, picking up the cards. âHappy?â
âYup. Now, I donât really like yellow, how about we change it to green?â Randy asks, setting down a draw four card of his own. And once that begins, Randy gets on a hot streak, using all his skips and draw two cards. Johnâs eyes narrow at Randy as Randyâs one huge stack of cards dwindles down to two, and his own amasses to over twenty. âHowâs it feel now, John?â Randy asks as he places down a card, saying uno while he does it.
âYouâre the dickface now.â
âSo you admit you were a dickface earlier?â
âNo,â John says as he sets down a card.
âWell, you kind of were. Itâs not a good look on you, John. However, I think it suits me just fine.â With that, he sets down his final card, winning the game. âSuck it.â
âHelp me put the cards away and maybe I will.â He shrugs, âNot like weâve got anything else to do tonight.â
the âmy roommateâs best friend is really obnoxious but also hotâ au zena
Ok, so, just a heads up. Â I've never written Dolph before. Â Not once. Â Never shipped him with anyone. Â Sooo, this is a first for me and I hope you enjoy it.
âYeah, Iâll be at your place about eight. Ok, Iâll see you then.â Johnâs just about to hang up the phone when Randy asks another question. âWait, what was that? Oh, thatâs right, I forgot your new roommate moved in. No, I havenât met him yet. Yeah, I guess I will soon. Alright, see you in a few.â
John hangs up and starts getting ready. He and Randy hadnât hung out in a while and were planning on going out bar hopping. Heâs not sure if Randyâs roommate will be joining them, or not. He has no idea what the guy is even like, but John assumes that he must be ok because he made it a few days without Randy maiming him.
 About quarter of, John heads over to Randyâs. Itâs just before eight when he arrives and heads up to the door to knock. âHey, man,â Randy says, pulling John into a quick hug once he lets him in the apartment.
 âHey.â Once heâs out of Randyâs embrace and further into the apartment, Randy shuts the door. John sits on the couch while Randy grabs a couple beers from the fridge. âWe headed out soon?â
 âWell, I hope you donât mind Dolphâs coming, too,â Randy says as he joins John on the couch, handing him the opened bottle. âI didnât ask him, but he overheard me making plans and invited himself along.â
 âThatâs fine,â John assures him, taking a drink from the bottle.Â
 âRandy! Have you seen my blow drier?â a voice comes from the bathroom. It must be Dolph, John reasons.Â
 Randy looks to John and gives him a look that reads what the fuck? âI donât even have hair! Why would I know where it is?â is Randyâs reply.Â
 They both hear an exaggerated sigh from the bathroom. And John raises an eyebrow. âHe needs a blow drier?âÂ
 âHeâs⌠very particular about his looks,â Randy tells him.Â
 âGotcha.â John is nearly finished with his beer before the man emerges from the bathroom. And⌠wow. John has to clench his teeth together to stop his jaw from dropping to the floor. The man is wearing leather pants and a hot pink tank top thatâs clinging to his frame, showing off his muscular body.Â
 âDo I look ok?â Dolph asks, looking between John and Randy.Â
 John finishes off his beer, giving himself a moment to compose himself. âYou look great.â
 Dolph looks down at himself and shakes his head. âI feel like I should change.â
 âWhy? Weâre already late, shit, itâll be last call before we even leave,â Randy grumbles.
 âThe pants are just too much.â
 âNo! Theyâre fine. Really. Trust me,â John says. âTheyâre great.â
 âWhat about the shirt?â Dolph asks, holding his arms out and turning around. âNot enough skin, right?â
 âWhat?â John asks.
 âThatâs a no. Iâll be right back.â
 Randy groans and leans back into the couch as Dolph goes to his room to change into something that shows off even more skin. âHeâs ridiculous.â
 âYou failed to tell me that heâs hot as balls.â
 âHeâs also really annoying.â
 âHeâs got more abs than you do.â
 Randy just huffs and lets out the occasional mumble about more abs, yeah right.
 When Dolph makes his return, itâs in yet another bright pink tank, this one a v-neck that really does show off more skin, and is just as tight as the other. âHowâs this one? Better?â
 âI didnât think it could get better, but it did,â John says before he can stop himself.
bugzwil replied to your post âI made you coffee, did you want some Aspirin?" Codenaâ
Thank you so much!!! Even I don't currently understand my obsession with them considering I'm usually a die hard centon fan...
You're welcome. Â I just hope it was ok. Â Like I said, it's not a pairing I've ever written, not as anything more than friends, so I'm hoping I got their dynamic right. Â
And, hey, I get it, once in a while you need to branch out.Â

"I made you coffee, did you want some Aspirin?" Codena
Ok, so, this is a paring I've never written before. Â I don't really ship them, but I like the both of them so I thought I'd try it out. Â I honestly don't know how it came out, but I tried...
~~~
Cody groans as he wakes up, knowing heâs hungover as the headache rages. He pushes himself up and looks around as he blinks the sleep out of his eyes. And thatâs when he realizes he didnât stay in his own hotel room last night.Â
Of course, seeing John Cena across the room from him, wearing nothing but a pair of boxer briefs, gives him some idea just whose room he is in. He pulls the sheet up over his chest, up to his chin, when he sees John now looking at him.Â
 âHey, youâre up. I made you coffee, did you want some Aspirin?â John asks.
 âWhat?â Cody asks, unsure he just heard that right.
 âI said I have coffee and Aspirin,â John repeats for him.Â
 Cody places a hand up to his head, fingers rubbing at his temple. âYeah, I need both.â
 âDo you take cream or sugar?â John asks.
 âTwo sugars and cream,â Cody answers.
 Cody is expecting John to just bring over the cream and sugars, but he actually mixes them in there himself. He brings over a styrofoam cup filled with coffee and hands it to Cody, along with two Aspirin.  Cody takes it, swallowing the pills with the coffee, that has apparently cooled down enough to be manageable. The sheet he had pulled up drops down, revealing his bare chest. âThanks,â he says after. He takes a deep breath, then breathes it all out before turning and really looking up at John. âSo, last nightâŚ?â he trails off.
 âDo you remember any of it?â John asks.
 âI donât know. I think I do,â he answers, his gaze traveling down to stare at the sheets. âBut, I dunno, it could just be my hungover brain doing weird things to my head right now.â He fiddles with the sheet covering his lap, pulling at the edge. âDo you remember any of it?â
 âYeah, I do,â John tells him. âIt came back slowly, but, yeah, it all came back.â
 Cody takes another sip of coffee before asking, âAnd we, uh, we definitely had sex, didnât we?â
 âDonât know what gave that away,â John tries to joke.
 âActually, itâs the fact that my ass hurts right now that gave it away,â Cody tells him, a blush forming on his cheeks as he finally looks up at John again.
 âOh.â
 âYeah. Um.â Cody once more looks away from John, this time to the cup of coffee in his hands. He takes a big drink of it this time, finishing it off. Some memories of last night flash through his mind, being at the bar, getting closer to John, kissing him at the bar, coming back to the room and undressing in record time before ending up on the bed with nothing but a condom and lube. He looks to the other side of the room, seeing that clothes have been scattered everywhere. âI think Iâm starting to remember last night.â
