#mayvinylchallenge Day 19: Took The Longest to Find #buggewesseltoft #henrikschwarz #wesseltoftschwarzduo #wesseltoftschwarz #mulemusiq @buggewesseltoft @henrikschwarzlive @mulemusiq 2011 | Wesseltoft & Schwarz – Duo Mule Musiq I bought the CD in 2011. Just after the release. Read a quite positive article. Somewhere. Since the release of Khmer by Nils Petter Molvaer, I’m really triggered by anything that combines Jazz and Electronica. One or two years later I was bored of the CD and the High-Res files. So, decided to buy the record. But this was a challenge. No record store, no Ebay or small ad offer. After years, I bought a small record collection, mainly Jazz. And. Surprise! This gem was part of it. Lucky me. 2019, had the pleasure to met Bugge Wesseltoft after a Rymden gig. He signed my record, not without asking me: „Wow! You got it?“ Bandcamp „When some collaborations occur, it feels like Fate has been paying close attention, planning something special. On one hand: Bugge Wesseltoft, pianist, composer and pioneer of electronic jazz; on the other: Henrik Schwarz, one of the most sought after producers of electronic music who has remixed stars from Michael Jackson to Ane Brun. This combination may not seem as radical as once it might, as in the days before Bugges New Conception of Jazz, but the results most certainly are: this does not feel like your typical electronic jazz outing. Its a Super-Group in microcosm.“ https://www.instagram.com/p/CPDdOfisdr8/?utm_medium=tumblr
