ℂ𝕃𝕀ℙℙ𝔼ℝ𝕊 ℍ𝕀𝕊𝕋𝕆ℝ𝕐. 🔥Beyond some of the obvious elements, the '21-'22 CLIPPERS City Edition uniform includes some subtle touches (“Easter eggs”) that highlight pivotal moments. ➡️ Elements that pay homage to milestones in #LAClippers history: 🏀 𝔹𝕦𝕗𝕗𝕒𝕝𝕠 𝔹𝕣𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕤 𝕃𝕠𝕘𝕠 1970: The #BuffaloBraves logo on the belt buckle celebrates the team's launch. Few players in NBA history had as bright of a start to their careers as Bob McAdoo did. By the time he was in his third season, McAdoo had been named Rookie of the Year, MVP and had two scoring titles as a standout player for the #BuffaloBraves (now known as the LA Clippers). One of the best-shooting big men of all time, McAdoo shot 50.3% in his career and 75.4% from the line while averaging double-digit scoring in all but one season (1981-82) — and he barely missed it that season at 9.6 ppg. Born as the #BuffaloBraves in 1970, the @LAClippers made its way from Buffalo, NY to #SanDiego, California in 1978 and became the #SanDiegoCLIPPERS. The team’s new moniker was a result of San Diego’s rich #sailing history. ⛵ 🎌 Several times the Clippers have brought back a bit of their past by re-incorporating the ℕ𝕒𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕝 𝔽𝕝𝕒𝕘𝕤 that once adorned the shorts of the San Diego Clippers (1978-'84). While in San Diego the flags were arranged to spell "🄲🄻🄸🄿🄿🄴🅁🅂”.
