At 80 years young, I did something most men half my age wouldn't dream of doing—I leaped out of a perfectly good airplane from an altitude of 14,000 feet. This video is not about skydiving; it's about showing that age is merely a number and that life does not necessarily end when you reach a particular milestone. From the three doctor tests my physician employed to clear me, to the pounding-in-the-heart experience at the threshold of the open door, to the unexpected health dividends I enjoyed afterward—this journey altered my perception of aging for life. My grandkids dubbed it "totally awesome," but for me, it was better than that. It was a pronouncement that I'm not finished living fearlessly. Flashback Friday! Can mark strolling through The Vatican off my list. The Pope (yes, the bishop of Rome), head of the worldwide Catholic Church, resides here. This country is located inside of Italy and only has a population of about 800 people! My two favs: 1. The Sistine Chapel of course, a beautiful work of art by the famous Italian artist, Michelangelo. Word of advice, don’t bring your camera out inside the ceiling exhibit because they will hunt you down! 😉 2. St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest & one of oldest churches in the world! Dates back to the 16th century & said to be built over the tomb of Peter.
