Throw in Stargate Atlantis’ Rodney McKay and John Sheppard and you either have a two-galaxy-spanning WWIII within days or the beginnings of world peace being scientifically broken down.

I can just picture ridiculous hijinks if Mulder ever got into Cheyenne Mountain or the Antarctic base, with O’Neill just barely a step ahead of him, throwing, like, drape cloths over the Stargate and getting Marines to pile boxes in front of it. Sam and Dana and Sheppard just sipping tea as they watch thr hilarity from the gate room. McKay trying not to get cornered by Mulder, Sam definitely not on his side, and Dana occasionally helping Mulder trap the wiley, wayward Canadian genius. So many possibilities.

The Atlantic chair lighting up when Mulder sits in it and everyone’s faces immediately draining of all colour.

The governments of the world seriously considering sending Mulder out to some remote planet with no instructions on how to dial home with the DHD…
