Spike stealing DVDs and CDs for Dawn.

Spike having to get help bleaching the back of his hair after that time he missed a spot, and Buffy never let him live it down.

Spike begrudgingly letting Dawn take him trick or treating, but refusing a costume (someone asks if he’s dressed as Billy Idol, and he has to hold back from biting them).

Spike and Giles having virtual “Passions” watch parties (sometimes Giles has to put down the phone, because honestly, who talks through the whole show? It’s bad form).

Spike learning how to restore old motorbikes again, because he forgot everything he learned in the 70’s, he was too drunk all the time to really remember anything.

Spike drinking blood out of a “World’s Best Big Brother” mug that Dawn gave him, that he refuses to admit is his favourite (but he won’t let anyone else touch it, just in case they break it).

Spike and Anya drinking in a demon bar and gossiping about their mutual friends from back in the day (“I mean, Halfrek? Really?”).

Spike getting way too into Love Island.

Spike going to night school and getting his double degree in Poetry and Literature.

Spike being banned from teaching Dawn to drive after that one time he got such bad second hand road rage that Dawn learnt about 5 new ways to curse.

Spike ranting about the poor quality of clothes these days, and accidentally becoming an advocate for slow fashion (Tara drags him to protests and petition campaigns, and he’s so passionate about it they ask him to speak at a conference).

Spike going to girls’ night with Tara and Anya (and getting so wine drunk that he calls Clem to tell him how much he loves him).

buffy - there's no way that if chatgbt existed when she was in high school she wouldn't use the fuck out of that in at least one episode where the chatgbt monster comes out in a season 1 or 2 episode and she's like fuck that, i was just insecure academically because my teachers suck and i will try. she'd be against it but be tempted to use it. giles would encourage her against it also. generally she's against because buffys very much into fighting and doing stuff yourself. still. it's one of the many temptations

giles - i think he’d contract scarlet fever if he found out about chatgbt in the future so he didn't have to live to see it

faith - if she was in school she'd use it but otherwise she's never used a computer in my opinion and even if she has and she does she wouldn't bother

dawn - fifty fifty i think she'd hate ai art but cmon she'd use that for school. i also have a vision of dawnie fucking up some stupid ai slop reels. but truly she goes through so much character development so she might be against it. in my heart dawn has her time with it and then give it up because it's stupid and dawn is really smart

spike - can he type (spike is a victorian child do you think he can tell when a video is ai or not. no. i think he would have no opinion and use it subconsciously or use it to do stupid stuff but get mad when it's wrong. i also think he would develop psychosis using it to write his own buffy x spike fanfic. but baby your brain's been doing that for you since season 4) (literally forgot that after seemingly wrecking the records room of sunnydale university and painstakingly scrolling to where buffys room was he has used a computer before)

willow - her whole magic addiction thing is literally the same as dependence on chatgbt. rip willow you wouldve used that and defended the hell out of it. you wouldve said something like "we have to learn to use it its the future". im sorry willow but she would love it so much it's why i have any doubt some of the other characters would support it because they saw what it did to willow. they needed to get willow help

xander - he would've said something like but its so fun. i also think he would makes jokes about how dumb it is but would secretly use it for school. just a feeling. he kind of always tried cheating and stuff

cordelia - "ew a freaking robot? i don't want anything generating in my computer much less a freak trying to be me" totally anti

oz - not my man. he'd be against it

anya - weirdly doubt she'd support it. i don't think she wouldn't use it though

tara - maybe the most anti ai/chatgbt of all

riley - uses ai all the time for work and sees it as a tool. would accidentally defend it not knowing the cons of ai. but then again robots killed his boyfriend so maybe he'd always be against it

angel - would use it and think it would be kinda fun but then cordelia makes fun of him for it (this is more ats angel related) and he'd pretend he doesnt like it either. he would make it make him pictures of apples or something and he would be genuinely amazed. he'd make it make a vampire picture and he'd be like "that's not what we look like"

Spike would want to turn you the moment he fell for you, but he’d know you need time to adjust to the idea of eternal life.

Yet Spike is Spike, and he’d be impatient for your answer, maybe even bugging you so much about it that you’d have to have some space.

In the meantime he’d fret that he ruined everything between you by pushing the issue, but it’s not as if you didn’t know him and understand that he’s just nervous and —despite his outward bravado— a bit insecure.

Finally, given the appropriate amount of time for you to think things over, you’d come to him with an answer. Yes. The look of pure joy you’d see on his face is rare for him to display, even to you, and you can’t help but be excited with him.

So he’d turn you, make a real night of it before he did too. You’d spend the night with him, enjoying your time together from sunset on through the night before he eventually took you back to his crypt and turned you just before sunrise, so you could rest after the change. And he’d watch you carefully and provide you with what you needed as your body adjusted to its new state of being.

An au where Drusilla is a Slayer as posited by that one theory that suggests her psychic abilities in canon are linked to her Slayer “potentiality”. I wanted to take it a step further and imagine her as a member of the Scoobies.

- Drusilla would be that goth kid who avidly delves into vampire fiction, including Anne Rice novels, and swoon over the titular vampire characters. A part of her can’t help fantasise the concept of an eternal love she believes vampires revel in.

- Her fashion choices would reflect her gothic tastes, paying homage to the allure of the '80s. She would tease her hair and favour a predominantly red and black wardrobe. 

- Drusilla would be endearingly quirky to her friends. ‘That weird kid’ who excitedly babbles away about her favourite topics of the day. When stressed out she might recite her favourite poems to calm her nerves. Indeed, her propensity for memorisation would make her a valuable asset to the Scooby Gang's research endeavours.

- Much like Willow she would lack experience in the dating scene. However, her bold, quirky style would undeniably attract a considerable amount of attention from her peers. 

- Drusilla's parents find themselves exasperated at her late-night escapades to The Bronze to dance the night away. Initially Drusilla would be shy, but once the right song/band plays she would shed her reservations and let her body move with an eccentric mind of its own.

- Definitely a hopeless romantic with a tendency to fall head-over-heels far too easily. Assuming she hadn’t yet known Spike, she might have crushed on Xander only for her gaze to shift towards Willow. The sight of Willow performing her witchcraft with adorable enthusiasm would make Dru’s heart beat an exquisite sigh of longing and protectiveness. Drusilla would find ways to make Willow notice her, and would even assist her in spells because of her own affinity for the craft. Willow might have had reservations of her own about Drusilla (assuming this timeline followed her crush on Xander), but would gradually warm up to her once she perceives her to be no threat.

- To Drusilla's dismay, her initial advances towards Xander would be met with awkwardness, as he might perceive her intentions as strange.

- Giles would dote over Drusilla’s affinity for music of his youth, finding it nice to talk to someone similarly cultured. Though would regard her as often lost in her own world. However, her manners and politeness would earn her a place of respect within the Scooby Gang, even if Giles would at times shake his head at her whimsicality.

- There would be a sense of competition between both Buffy and Drusilla, especially if others turn to the other for Slayer related tasks. They would constantly compare themselves to one another, grappling with their own insecurities and perceiving the other as better. The fact they share the same Birthday would further amplify their respective unease. Subsequently, Drusilla’s emotions would begin to mirror Buffy's sentiments upon growing jealous of the friendship between Buffy and Willow, longing for a similar connection with the latter.
