Getting Ahead

Sooah packed away her gym bag in her locker and made her way outside, feeling a sense of incongruous relief that she knew deep down had to do with the fact that for the next hour, she couldn’t try to call Jimin even if she wanted to.

In other words, for the next hour, her calls wouldn’t get screened and she wouldn’t have to listen to his outgoing message that she had memorised by now.

New Year’s Eve

As Yoongi fishes out his pack of cigarettes, he looks up to see Taehyung bopping towards him with a tumbler of whiskey in one hand.

“Hyung!” Still bopping, he turns to stand next to Yoongi and throws an enthusiastic arm over his shoulder. “Where are you going?”

“For a smoke. Want to come?”

“Oh. No. I’m trying to…” Taehyung trails off and shakes his head, and Yoongi pretends not to notice how he deliberately averts his gaze from the pack.

“Okay, then. I’ll see you in -“ Yoongi stops abruptly in his tracks when he sees what seems like a ghost. “Not that I care,” he begins, feeling oddly calm, “but who invited Kang freaking Chanel to this party?”

24. How much prep work do you put into your stories? What does that look like for you? Do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?

im very notorious for not putting any prep whatsoever into my stories lol. a lot of them are just me writing what feels good and figuring things out from there. However, when i do prep, i really enjoy it! it tends to be working out the general plot and deciding what character development i would like to consider

27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?

I don’t think characters are very stressful for me to write, but generally very peppy and happy personalities i struggle with.

it's fine. certainly better than what my parents were going to name me. I can't really think of a name I'd want more, so I suppose I do.

.... what hairstyle? I get my shower in the morning, brush my hair, and then let it air dry throughout the day. sometimes, I'll put JVN's anti-frizz cream in it when it's really humid, but that's as far as I go

recently it's been walkthroughs and guides for Tears of the Kingdom, but more often than not it's some sort of research for a fic I'm writing. my most recent searches were 'how to open a bear trap' and 'do bear traps hurt bears'

"Why do ask? Would you like to play with me?" Realm!Taehyung raises his brow.

Pyn immediately smacks him on the wing with a handful of dirt. "Stop that. Bad. Bad. What will your beau say?"

Ouro!Jungkook sighs as the two begin arguing again. A snake tail circles around Pyn's waist to stop him from trying to hit the fallen angel. He tries his best to answer over the ruckus.

"I like playing hide-and-seek. Especially as the seeker. It creates a thrill. Realm!Taehyung is not much of a game player. If riling the little caretaker up would be considered a game to you, then that would likely be his favourite."

The arguing suddenly stops as the caretaker perks up. "We love rain! Ouro!Jungkook and I like to watch as it comes down and sometimes we just sit in it."

"Not me." Realm!Taehyung snarls. "Rain is annoying. It messes with the feathers in my wings. I hate having to deal with the colours bleeding through."

"Best in this case is very relative. I am only decent. I can make a cake. I can make cookies but they're not like, great or anything. They're edible at least." Pyn shrugs.
