Remember when RM brought up to Jimin, them all doing different subunits to shake things up when they come back from MS. He kinda volunteered himself and Jimin and then said V and Jungkook and Jimin didn't seem too down for it & sorta blew it off and said he just wants to work with everyone. Now I'm starting to wonder if he maybe talked them into doing that. And maybe tk are filming content together and Rm and Jimin have stuff they are working on and why Jimin has been hanging around him a bit more since LA and now. Idk, maybe Jimin stuck to his guns and didn't agree to it, but seems it's looking more possible, esp nowadays. Just doing some thinking.
Hi anon. Your take is interesting and Iβm sure it could apply to their work life or plans for the comeback, but not to their time off or anything out of the building that happens in their social life.
With that I mean to say that yes, new units and duos or collabs within the group are veeeery plausible and Iβd say requested, considering how hungry we are for new things and BTS new era. Not sure who these duos would be made up of but definitely something interesting could be being planted.
BTS are friends and brothers before being colleagues so itβs possible a specific duo thatβs working on something together ends up going out together more as well, after the schedule, absolutely. But I also think we need to consider that theyβve been locked in the military and preparing for it for basically 3 years. Things havenβt been easy or settled for them in a while, and Iβm sure they missed each other a lot.
Taekook can get along pretty well when fan wars or shippers donβt ruin the experience, and donβt make things awkward or uncomfortable for them too like it happened in the past. So yes, they could be working on something as a unit - ignoring the toxic part of the fandom, most ARMYs would enjoy it - but they could also be spending time together becauseβ¦ they want to. They care about each other and want to. They share interests, like the gym or good food, theyβre an average pair of friends for their age.
Just like Jimin and Namjoon, who truly love each other and describe their bond and their hangouts as meaningful, deep and genuine. No wonder theyβre drinking together or going on walks lately. They need it, on a human level. Just like Jikook needed each other right after their joint enlistment to relax a bit and visit new places. Some content did get out of that and weβre waiting for it with passion, but I think we all agree on the fact that they traveled together mainly to enjoy each other properly after the strict time they had just been through.
I personally donβt believe RM had to talk the members into doing any of this. I just think they happen to be both emotionally and contractually close, and that hanging out βmoreβ together can be easily explained as the result of both - even though they always have. The members have always hang out together, in cycles, it was Jimin and Yoongi pre enlistment and itβs Minimoni now, or RM and Tae last night, for example.
We just see too little of their lives to establish whoβs seeing who more and why and to even assume itβs planned and prepared. But I guess your take is not too far fetched either, and I hope it comes true as soon as it can if thatβs what the members have been cooking up so intensely, together with their group schedule. The latter is what Iβm looking forward to the most. I miss BTS music, I miss their stage presence as 7, I miss the way they blend in their uniqueness in albums, concepts and interviews. As long as units are a plus to their group work Iβm good with any crumb soβ¦ why not!!!
