The boharaeification of the US President. My boys got my guy doing finger hearts. Sksksksksk. Like I can't believe this isn't an edit. If you told me in 2018 when I first became a fan BTS would be in the White House to speak with the President I would fist fight you mostly because the current President had been an orange racist Cheeto but outside of that it would be a dream. Now we got our boys at the White House,speaking Korean!! Like do y'all understand how fucking meaningful it was to see these men address the US press in a language outside of English. I am from an Anglophone country. Colonized by the country of tea and biscuits so from young we are taught English is more important than our Native languages because it would take us further in life. Perfect English is emphasized in school,day to day interaction and especially in formal settings. And to see these seven boys from South Korea not only get this far singing in their native language and when being given access to such a platform to speak on political issues they say fuck it and continue to do so in their native language. It makes me want to cry and scream at the world that look at them! Look at their success! See what happens when we embrace our true selves. It's ironic that the only way for me to communicate is infact in English but that's just the tragedy of colonization. Hopefully the next generation of my country see feats like BTS and think my child can go far with their mother tongue too and prioritize teaching it. Don't let our languages die out because the English man told you,you needed his. It's the 21st century. Let them translate that shit. We have resources to communicate with people from anywhere in the world even when we don't speak their language. We don't need to abandon our cultures anymore. We can be heard!

Also here is BTS with the former South Korean president because I am a proud mama and just want to show off the boys prestige. Also if you know President Moon,you know he love the boys. My man's was so close to adopting these guys
