☆ He comes in with a cake, super excited.

"Why did you bring a cake?" You say.

And he freezes.

☆ "W-What do you mean, why? IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!"

"Oh...? Is it today?"

☆ And he looks at you with the face of a traumatized kitten.

☆ He hugs you tightly because he thinks "nobody reminded you."

☆ He buys you an extra cupcake even though it's not necessary.

☆ He's so sweet the entire day I wanna eat him

Atsushi appears with a huge cake, all decorated with chocolate.

He walks in, all happy:

"Happy birthd…!"

He stops because you're looking at him like he just said something stupid.

"My what?"

Atsushi's eyes widen as if he's been punched in the gut.

"Your birthday?!"

"Is it today?"

Atsushi is stunned, hugs you like you're about to cry, even though you're just chill.

Then he serves you a slice of cake and checks on you every two seconds to make sure you're "emotionally okay."

☆ He sees you walking past him, acting completely normal.

☆ "Hmm… I'm surprised you didn't ask for chocolate or anything special today…"

He pauses, like he's buffering. "Honey, it's your birthday."

"Oh."

Dazai, leaning against the desk, laughing his head off. "You're unbelievable, seriously. Even I wouldn't forget an excuse to get presents."

"Well, as a “gift” I can let you strangle me if you want."

"Dazai WHAT THE HELL???"

You're just strolling along, sipping a glass of juice.

Dazai gives you a strange look. "Shouldn't you be demanding presents today?"

"Why?"

He pauses dramatically. "Because it's your birthday, my lovely little amnesiac."

You freeze.

He laughs loudly, leans towards you, and whispers "If you want, as a present I can let you kill me. It's something special."

"Okay, fine."

He's beaming "Ah, brilliant idea!"

You hear Kunikida yelling from afar "DAZAI, STOP EGGING HER UP!!!"

☆ He sees you working/messing around as usual, and then she finds out you forgot.

☆ "HOW COULD YOU FORGET SUCH AN IMPORTANT DATE?!"

☆ He pulls out her notebook and literally shoves it in front of you. "LOOK!!! I wrote it down months ago!"

Kunikida enters the room and sees you working as if nothing's wrong.

"Why didn't you take the day off?"

"Why... why should I?"

He freezes.

He pulls out his notebook like it's the holy Bible...

"YOUR BIRTHDAY IS HERE, DATE, TIME, AND PRIORITY!"

"Oh... oh."

He massages his temples and gives you some tea. "Please... please, write down your important dates. You're going to stress me out."

☆ Someone told him.

☆ He stares at you, saying nothing.

☆ Then, he discreetly leaves you a little bag with some candy (keychain, book, etc.) that reminded him of you.

☆ He won't admit it, but he cares.

You see him standing in the doorway, staring at you.

"I heard you... forgot something."

"Yes, my birthday."

He sighs as if your existence pains him. "Ridiculous."

He leaves a small bag on the table and disappears.

When you open it, there are expensive sweets, impeccably wrapped.

You shout from afar "THANK YOU, AKUTAGAWA!"

He turns away as if he didn't hear you. But deep down, he accepts your thanks.

He drags you out to buy desserts and take you out for dinner.
