I think about this part a lot in Stormbringer and it haunts me because Murase had such a huge impact on Chuuya and just wanted Chuuya to live a normal life and ough I'm sick

Chuuya getting labelled as a delinquent partially bc he acts like one but mostly bc almost every day there’s strange ppl lurking outside the school gates scoping him out...but then quaking when Chuuya strolls out and hits them with the side eye (he’s still got it)

occasionally old bitter nemeses that Chuuya had previously defeated will come disturb his peace and try to pick a fight bc they think he’s gone soft from living a “normal” life but they find out very very quickly that’s not the case at all. Chuuya never slacks (he's an all-around student athlete now).

Chuuya, throwing his duffel bag down and cracking his neck: this is great I haven’t had a good warmup in ages enemies: enemies: oh…oh no…?? [afterwards] enemies, knocked out in a pile: Chuuya, dusting himself off: thanks guys I really needed that! been feeling a bit stiff recently but I feel much better now

Let me prove you wrong:

1.The flags

Went against the bosses orders to give chuuya a good gift (his past) and also risked their lives for chuuya.

2.Verlaine

“He would chose Rimbaud” bro literally shot this man just so chuuya would be safe.

3.Murase

Wanted to return chuuya to the world of light

4.Adam

Programmed himself to put chuuya before anything and risked his life for chuuya (he came back though, I’m happy)

5.Kouyou

I honestly hate when people say she would choose Kyouka as if she can’t love two people equally. Like are we reading the same thing? She cares about chuuya a lot.

6.Dazai

Little Chuuya + Caregivers Adam and Murase

⛦ Starting off with an age range as usual! Chuuya regresses to 3-7 I’m gonna say! I’ve expanded my view to give him a bit wider of an age range, previously I’ve been saying 3-6. But like. Ough bratty kiddo Chuuya I love him let him be a child… Like yes he’s a toddler, that’s why I’m not upping his minimum age. But likeeee. Kiddo Chuuya! Doing more complex big kid stuff like playing video games. I love him. I’m adding the creature to my collection (He was already in my collection)

✮⋆˙ Onto caregiver focused stuff! I can’t think of a time Chuuya would be looked after by Adam and Murase at the same time? Like it was just Murase for the longest time and then. Well he couldn’t have that anymore- Which was only shortly after he even met Adam! During the time Murase was alive Chuuya wasn’t close to Adam, therefore I don’t think the two would’ve interacted as caregivers much or at all, maybe like once? But even that’s pushing it

⛦ Starting off with Murase! He didn’t get much content sadly, but still! He was such a caring role for Chuuya! He always looks out for Chuuya’s best interests, wanting the little one to be safe! I think he’d definitely have Chuuya on a schedule of sorts to make sure he’s regressing enough. Like every other time Chuuya visits him he wants the boy to regress. Of course this could lead to Chuuya just not visiting, he doesn’t say how often Chuuya needs to visit, however he does make it very clear that he’d be really sad if Chuuya stopped visiting him. Over exaggerated while Chuuya is regressed of course! But just genuine sadness for big Chuuya, no lies or trickery

✮⋆˙ Murase has a drawer in his desk that has like a pacifier, a coloring book, and maybe a tiny sippy cup. That way if Chuuya visits him at the police station he’s ready! Murase seems like a genuinely nice guy, so I’m gonna assume his colleagues respect him at least a little bit. So if Chuuya comes over Murase can just ask for an office to himself for a bit! Or he has his own private office? Not really specified- But he’ll cover up windows and stuff so Chuuya can just relax! After all Chuuya desperately needs a break and Murase knows that all too well

⛦ I don’t think Chuuya would like going to Murase’s house. Of course Murase offers! But I feel like Chuuya would get anxious because that’s a step closer to being close to Murase. And it always hurts when he gets close to people… When he picks up on the redheads uneasiness Murase will make up some excuse like “Wait no my AC is broken, let’s just stay here” That way Chuuya doesn’t have to feel bad about turning down the offer! It honestly helps… A lot

✮⋆˙ Murase buys minimal gear for Chuuya! Like he definitely buys stuff for the kid, but he doesn’t want Chuuya fretting over money being spent on him or needing to repay Murase. It’s better to just get him a few really nice things! Though Murase definitely like, if he sees something cute he buys it for Chuuya. Completely random! Just sometimes Chuuya is given a gift the second they’re alone in Murase’s office. The little one gets super flustered and Murase just switches the topic before he gets a chance to be fussy and insist he doesn’t need anything

⛦ Onto Adam a bit! Adam is very technical and stereotypical with what he does, he assumes experiences he finds online are universal. So he like buys bottles and cute overalls and baby food and Chuuya is just like (¬_¬) “Ew” But! Adam does adapt very quickly! Chuuya mentions an interest while regressed and Adam just stores the information and instantly starts finding new stuff. Oh Chuuya likes dogs? Wonderful he’s ordered a box of dog themed agere gear that should be here in a week and he’s found a list of the top 10 dog themed cartoons. Chuuya acts really annoyed at first but… It’s actually really nice. He really feels like Adam listens to him

✮⋆˙ Similar to Murase, Adam sets a schedule! His is much more strict though, he’s very direct with how frequently Chuuya needs to regress for the sake of his mental health and he factors in anything that might require more or less time. He makes Chuuya stick to the schedule too! It doesn’t matter what Chuuya does to keep the Android out, he will find a way to get in and inform Chuuya that’s it’s time to relax. Chuuya usually has a tantrum push him into the initial slip which isn’t fun but Adam very quickly makes it better for him

⛦ I think Adam and Chuuya play pretend a lot! You know Chuuya made Adam think of him as his ‘master’? Yeah… Little Chuuya wants to be thought of as a prince! Not a king. Already had that title before and he didn’t like it. And Adam is his most trusted knight of course. But also he kind of makes Adam play as a servant because like. It’s fun to be bossy if it’s in a game! He doesn’t make any big demands, it’s stuff Adam would do anyway, but this way Chuuya gets to feel good about himself while asking for things! And Adam will start speaking all fancy like and Chuuya just starts giggling because it’s so silly!

Why is there no Murase content? He’s so sweet :( Let Chuuya have someone that comforts him come on guys
